OP, instead of turning your height into a handicap, turn it into a joke at this point. I say this as a dude who's short too (5'7ish barefoot) that if you laugh about your height instead of being insecure about it. Whenever someone talks about me being short (which isn't as often as misc makes it seem, btw), I usually just joke about it or sarcastically talk about how it's a positive somehow. There'll be some girl who finds it charming and the people who think you're a bitch or something for "chitting on yourself" won't respect you anyway because they're that 10ish% of clowns who can't look past someone's height no matter what and aren't worth your time.
