They're throwing the kitchen sink in an attempt to save the sport.

Viewership has been declining, and USA's population is increasing in minorities - AA watch NBA, Hispanics soccer, Asians study. NFL is viewed as extremely white still. Hispanics projected to become the majority eventually, which will mean soccer will be the dominant sport in the future, so they have to come out with things like this to save it (it won't)

Minorities like sports and activities they can play, so there's street bball, and soccer can literally be played with a crushed coke can. NFL requires armour, padding, helmets, a big field, goalposts, etc. so no way they're going to get into it. White people sports all require significant financial investment - hockey, tennis, golf, NFL, etc.

Dumbest post ever. NFL is the king because it is conducive to gambling and fantasy. It is making it's highest revenue by far.
