I wonder whatever happened to that guy in real life and if he still resembles a rat only an old rat now.
Last thing I saw him (Jackie Earle Haley) in was Watchmen as Rorschach.

A democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. And that's why the USA is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

“And so they’re gonna walk Beck to get to Parkman. Obviously Taylor’s thinking…….I don’t know what the hell he’s thinking.”

That and his drinking in the movie. Opening day it’s bottled water, then about 6 beers mid season, and their lows it was straight Jack and his passing out only to wake up and announce the brawl going on.

And of course the ending
“THAT A BOY RICK I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT. I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT.”
“Mr Brown.”
“I LOVE THIS CHIT AND I MAY MOVE TO ENGLAND……AHHHHHH!”
In both movies, wasn't it the White Sox that was portrayed as this dominating team?

The baseball aspect of For Love of the game is great, the scenes with jena malone are unwatchable and pure cringe

I don't know, I saw Field of Dreams as an adult, and all I saw was a man with a mental illness, hearing voices in his head.

Baseball scenes are really good, stuff with women he is involved with takes it down. Worth seeing if you are a baseball fan

Very dreamy and fairy-tale atmosphere

Love Bull Durham and Field of Dreams, but they're very different movies.

If I remember correctly Kevin Costner played college ball in California somewhere. Cal St Fullerton maybe.
