Wtf is Sony doing???

Seriously, what the fk is going on? They have no games, continue to release gimmicks like VR and a handheld nobody asked for. There's Mass Firings and fired Jim Ryan, the man sonycels worshipped that they now claim they hate. They can't make any headway in Multiplayer games and canceled factions 2, the one game Sonycels claimed would be like the second coming of Christ. There single player AAA ultra 2Deep4U but Da GrApHiCs DoE game releases for 2024 is abysmal. Back to VR, wtf happened to that?. People bought a VR Headset that costs more than a PS5 to play gimmick games and they're not evening releasing games for it?

And now what, they're going to release a PS5 pro, a console nobody asked for that Sonycels claim with run games better than a RTX 4090....

This is a worrying trend for Sony, not sure how they dig themselves out of this hole. Xbox is making so manny great moves, Gamepass is getting better and better, and Xbox is making it so easy to get their games on Multiple platforms for people to enjoy. Nintendo is also doing their thing and the Switch 2 will surely be a hit.

Please explain Sonycels, what is going up. And don't bring up Xbox, Starfield and refrain from using ad hominems. I know this is a very stressful time in your fandoms life.

They're basically an example of why you shouldn't get too attached to one brand. Sony fanboys became the most extreme the industry has ever seen in the PS4 generation, acting like the company is the savior of gaming that could do no wrong, which allowed them to get their head up their ass and do a lot of dumb and anti-consumer bullchit.

I mean we saw a similar development happen to Sony back when they were coming hot off the success of the PS2 and introduced the PS3, it's just that everyone has been so caught up in the PS4 fanboy mentality that they have been very slow to react.

Then there's the elephant in the room that is Playstation's move to California and the westernization of their brand.

Define exclusivity. By the old sonycel definition, the only current platform with exclusives is the Nintendo Switch. And the Switch doesn't count because it's for kids and doesn't have cussing and sex scenes in their games.

It's funny how they became infamous for saying something, and joked about it forever, only to suddenly pretend like they never did any of that and get offended when anyone mentions the way they behaved for so long. Then they wonder why they have become a joke that is looked down upon.

For the longest time they smugly stated "xbox has no games" simply because of lot of Xbox games also had PC ports, now they're scrambling for ways to excuse that very same thing and trying to push a "well it's still console exclusive" mentality, something they previously mocked with a passion. The double standards and hypocrisy is off the charts.

To top it off they're now heavily praising a Spiderman game, something that is made to be kid friendly, when they have been infamous for making fun of Nintendo games for being kid friendly. Funny how quickly their attitudes dramatically change when they're no longer convenient for Sony.

This is nothing compared to the hype of the psx2. It launched with a $600 price tag. Developers said it was the most difficult. Console to code for. Games on dreamcast that were on PS2 looked better on dreamcast. Because PS2 did not have anyone aliasing abilities. Hence all the jaggies in the games.

They were pushing the DVD player for the media source.. psx fan boys were on suicide watch for a long time in the chatrooms. Many stoped even putting up an argument and threw in the towel

They're remaking alot of older, iconic games that have outdated graphics. And they know boomers like me that grew up with those games are going to buy everyone of the remakes without question. Also people in my age bracket are mostly all in careers now and have the money to get remake games. Pretty genius business idea on GOAT Sony's part. Also lets the zoomers experience the GOAT era of gaming they couldnt experience because they were still sperms at the time.
