Do you think it would make better buisness sense for NINTENDO TO

License out their 1st party games to other platforms?

And if so why do you think the boys on the board have not pushed for this?

If PS/XBOX got a hold of Mario Games, they would launch a gaming system directly towards Nintendo's main market: Children.

Why would a company with cash cow IPs in Mario and Pokemon be someone else's bitch?

How does that make them some ones biotch?

Nintendo has the titles the other companies want. They would be going to Nintendo hat in hand not vice versa.

You don't think psx and Xbox fans don't love Nintendo 1st person titles.

On the books it seems like it would make them more money when you consider Nintendo losses I forget how much on every console sold. They use to be at the breakeven point. Which is a hell of a lot better than Sony and Ms which losses close to a $100 on every console sold the first couple of years after a launch. All the profits are in the software

Noe I ask you to do the same. Explain to me how it doesn't make sense?

Because third party developers only get a percentage of the profits from selling their games. The Switch is the #1 selling console by far. Nintendo gets to keep all the profits since it's on their platform. Also, consoles only lose money at launch. It becomes profitable near the middle to end cycles.

Yeah I was just about to mention Sega. When DC crashed and burned and they went that route I thought it would boost Sega as a company. I remember wanting to invest in Sega at that time. In retrospect I'm glad I didn't . It bumped their stock up a couple dollars if I remember correctly but as a developer they have not done much of anything worth remembering

Why they have not used phantasy star and Shinobi I don't know
