I grew up on Genesis, Gameboy, Dreamcast and the original Xbox. Lost interest after 360. That's the last console I've played.

I should have clarified..

You don't choose based on playing them. You choose from. Collectors stand point. Hence why I said unopened.

I remember when it came out 91/92. The console cost $600 and the games were super expensive too.

Back then that was crazy money.

It's only gotten crazier, always been by far the most expensive console to collect for (as far as I'm aware). Even back in the day when I was really into collecting gaming consoles and games, when it was all WAY cheaper than it is today, original Neo Geo stuff was still way too expensive for me to justify.

I already got all the ACA Neo Geo titles they released for the Switch, bought them back when they first released as well so I even got the ones they later delisted. It was easily worth it for me, as the entire collection cost me less than a single authentic cartridge would have lol.

Nah srs. Played every game I wanted for NES, Super NES, N64, Sega Genisis, Playstation, Colecovision, Intellivision, and still have them for that matter. Newer stuff is easy to find. The 2600 is the one that's still not in my collection exept for a console that I still need to service and some games.
