Not gonna lie, the last one was kinda boring, but this looks good. It seems to take place hundreds of years after the events of the last movie if they're all talking in complete sentences.

I don’t know much about orangutans but Maurice looks like he’s in it. Do they live that long irl? I don’t let facts get in the way of a good story anyway bud Maurice ie Caesar’s right hand “man” is in this one.

Last was more boring but I absolutely love Dawn and watch it still. Rise was a good origins/reboot.

If that is him and not a descendant, there will probably be some trope about the apes having unnaturally long lives because of the experiments done to them.

The last movie was good, just boring. All I remember is that long drawn out stealth mission to save the captured apes from the humans. That scene lasted waaaay too long.

After searching I don’t think it’s him.

I thought the lead protagonist would be Caesar’s son Corneillis. But the ape with the bird landing on his arm is not him. It’s Noa a brand new character to the franchise and it’s indeed set in several generations of ape after War for.

The 3rd one just didn’t excite me. Dawn of was enthralling imo though. Absolutely enjoyed that one.

When I was a kid, I used to love all the old Planet of the Apes movies. Really I still do. I've always liked science fiction.

This one looks pretty good, but I can't get into these newer ones nearly as much as the old ones for some reason.

My opinion too. I only respect the 1st one. Second was ok. 3rd ok they figured out how to repair the space ship traveled back to modern day earth. 4-5? Hell nah lol.
