Have multiple people at work like this...

They like and trust you enough to have 30 min plus convos with you..

They bitch and complain about their problems, talk chit on coworkers, talk about their favorite chit tv shows..

And guess what, im a great listener..

I will often listen to a person blabber on forever while I'm thinking about other chit..


However the fukked up thing with these narcissists is when it's your turn to speakk.

They will literally start going on there phones, run to the bathroom mid convo, randomly change the subject back to their life/problems, or try to talk over you so you can't even get 2 minutes of your own talking time..

Bruhh fuk all my coworkers..

Literally listened to my coworker talk chit for 45 minutes, being a respectful listener..

When it was my turn to add input, this dude cuts me off and is like hold on I have to run to the restroom..

Goes to the bathroom and fuks off back to his area without returning to listen to me..

Never talking to this ******* again srs..

Like 5 people I work with are like this..

Now one thinks I'm rude for ignoring her now..

Ridiculous fam..

But IRL all you do is get walked over during conversations..

It's like listening to a hot chick complain about her problems all night long at the bar..thinking that will help you slide in some cheeks..

Then all of a sudden chad comes up and goes "sup baby"

Then they start making out within 2 minutes.

And your in the background just staring at the wall with a drink held up to your chest in anxiety..

it's not that they are narcissists but it does show they don't care about what you are going through.

it's bad enough they don't care to listen.

if you mention an issue and then 1 of these 2 things happen;

1. they say something similar about themselves - they don't care about your problems.
2. if they say instead say something ABOUT SOMEONE ELSES problems or topic change - they really don't fking care about your problems. they are basically telling you your problems are less important someone else's that isn't even them. that is the sign of a real prick.

you should not waste your time or energy trying to talk to such people. take away your attention brah. save it only for those that you do know listen

Everyone has levels of narcissism and it can vary with time/circumstance. But proper NPD narcissists are on a whole new level and they will slowly (or fastly) drain the life energy out of anyone around them without having the slightest clue what they are doing and why.

They can't be helped, they will never even realize they have this problem, no matter how glaringly obvious it is. Whenever issues arise it will always be the other person's fault and if anyone tries to tell they have a narcissism problem then they will conclude that it is the messenger who is the narcissist. It is truely spectacular how out of touch a narcissist can be.

They aren't all acutely dangerous but the ones that couple narcissism with low integrity/morals are a fcking nightmare. Like I said, even the good ones will drain your life energy over time. They are broken people and it's sad but they can't be helped. Good luck OP.

Maybe the way you’re speaking or what you’re saying is uninteresting. Maybe you’re talking too soft and with no confidence

Just say :

“Sorry, if you don’t mind I’m going to stop talking to you and go and speak to someone else”
