Yeah my parents bought me a PS5 for daylight savings. Kinda pissed because I wanted more than one present

Lol pretty much this.

I grew up in Indiana as a kid and remember Indiana had it's own time zone. Mike Pence was a phaaggoot and ran for governor and ended that and put Indiana on Eastern time zone including day light savings time. Fuk that guy.

I'm up early ,I find it being dark until 7 depressing

The older I get ,the earlier I get tired ,so,I could give a f about it being dark at 5 if it isn't warm out

daylight savings is the most potato thing on earth.

ARIZONA does not do daylight savings. We just have the same time all year.

You'd think this is BETTER for us, but the reality is that every other time zone in the USA changes, so anyone who works in a big corp has to adjust their schedule by an hour to stay in sync with the east coast.

based might move to Arizona, but people say to avoid phoenix and the lower part due to all the cartel and illegals flooding through.

It makes complete sense though. It's just it is less necessary, or not necessary, for us in modern times.

The goal was for longer hours of daylight for the spring and summer so they used less energy and could work longer hours with the longer sunlight (think farmers especially)

Phoenix was good until 2020.

Now we have crackheads sprawling all the way out to the suburbs. It's a massive homeless issue that was very minor pre-covid.

Real estate here is also probably the most clown level of inflation in the entire country. People are listing shacks in the ghetto for $300k+. No yard, chitty schools, urban homes for $300k.

Pre 2020 this city was awesome. Back in 2010 everything was so cheap I couldn't believe it. I think it's getting California'd.
