I know this one, how tiring life can be physically and mentally living behind the internet, television and social media all the time, but times have changed, I mean what else is there to do in real life these days, everything is overdone and mostly stale...at most everyones life has become boring...

Well you could always just go outside and do things. The internet is basically a cesspool of toxicity where you're constantly having the deal with the biggest losers who barely walk the earth. The only good you can find on it is from people who have something going on in their lives. It's always obvious when people don't, they're just constantly looking for an e-fight, because they have so little going on in their lives it's the last desperate bid for dopamine and attention.

Case and point right here, couldn't ask for a better example.

I could go outside and do lots of things, but it's mostly boring alone and I would still need people around me for the most part..but here's the catch even in real most negative things happen, heck even the people closest to you can hurt you in some way or the other...on the internet people feel safer for the most part without their feelings being hurt etc.

I guess that's why I like having dogs, great to have some hiking partners. I really don't need to have anyone else around in order to have fun outside either, might go for a bike ride, ride my electric longboard or push one of my regulars, hit up the gym, shoot some hoops, there's no shortage of ways to enjoy yourself without others. Codependency is not a good thing, and getting out on your own can be a good way to meet people.

Well it's a form of virtue signaling, and virtue signaling is just another attention seeking method for a cheap dopamine hit.

True, and very accurate. I mean just think about the mindset of the kind of person who feels a need to e-bully randoms on a message forum/social, or the type of person who would get enjoyment out of that. They aren't the type of people I would want to hang out with, that's for sure. You know the old saying, misery loves company.

Seems like some people literally have nothing better to do than try to drag others down. It seems like they need to stick to small and cliquish communities as well, because they would get roasted in bigger ones, or simply booted out.

It's not hard to sport the rejects who's sad lives carry over to the internet. We all.make silly post and comments in jest sometimes got lulz but you can spot the ones who actually live that fake persona and tale out their jealously and envy on boards like this.

I've said it many times. All they deserve is our pity. I mean could you imagine if you had to live that life? And I don't even say that in ridicule I get some attacks on here and I've been here for many years. You just have to let it role off of you and consider the source..

Yup, they are always easy to spot. Funny thing is, they think their continued aggression will somehow get them ahead, when all it does it show off their pettiness and how pathetic they are to the few people who actually pay any attention to them.

I mean think about it, does anybody give a flying phuck about "winning" some argument on a forum like this or in some comments section? Chances are hardly anyone will read it, and most outside observers would simply be disgusted by the behavior or simply ignore it. I mean I come across stupid arguments all the time in comments sections and forums, and most of the time I think the longer it goes on, the worse everyone involved looks, and the less I care about what any of them had to say.

For real. One thing I notice is how the more friendly and sincere people are, the more likely they are to attract haters on the internet. Like if you're just doing your own thing, living your best life, and trying to share your thoughts with others, it seems to piss off toxic personalities to no end.

i'd say you can look at online post counts and bet that there's a high correlation between abundant posting and various mental disorders.

Well if you think about it, the people who are generally kind and sincere are the hardest to ignore and brush off. Stupid douchebags are easy to ignore and brush off because they never have anything of value to say. Controversy often stems from inconvenient truths and challenging the status and biases of others, especially those who hold themselves to high regard. The bigger the ego being challenged, the bigger the hater towards the person challenging them. This is especially prevalent on the internet due to the nature of it, where any jackass can be as chitty as they like because they are hiding behind a keyboard. It's why you get so many e-warriors who are the biggest antagonistic and hateful pieces of chit on the internet, while they wouldn't dare to say any of the chit IRL that they're spewing all over the internet.

That, and projections as well as gaslighting is way too easy on the internet. Any piece of chit can claim anything because why not? Most of the time they are simply trying to save face or cling to the delicate e-ego that is so prevalent among the e-warrior types. It's why engaging with people like that is often so pointless, because you aren't going to convince them of anything, and they will double down hard on defending or ignoring their own nasty behavior. Like if they're willing to say phucked up chit to people or treat others like dirt over something as petty as difference in opinion, what's to stop them from doing that? So yeah, the more you attract dedicated haters, it's probably because you have been putting them in their place.

That and there is an old saying, how it's lonely at the top and the bottom is way too phucking crowded. Those who rise above are going to standout like a sore thumb, while the bottom feeders all have something in common.

well the internet is a controlled environment...and just like real life those that are incessantly negative and looking to bully likely have something missing from their life. i would honestly be on guard around anyone irl that tells me they post a lot on the internet.
