Misery loves company. Imagine using a pseudo intellectual schtick approach as a deflection tactic in order to avoid addressing the barrage of character shots being taken at you. I find peace knowing that hardcore narcissists like analchron are truly miserable at their core, which is where this holier-than-thou attitude stems from. It's literally his only way of coping. And his problems can't be fixed. He's simply a broken dude at the core.

Part of why he gets off on here is because we can't ingore his toxicity as easily as we would be able to IRL.

Yup, and I'll put it this way, happy people don't behave like that, for they have no reason to. If you're always trying to be an ass to people, well that says a lot about the content of your character.

It's easy to be a total piece of chit on a somewhat cliquish forum like this because everyone knows everyone for the most part, and biases are made. i will say this about analchron. he's wasn't always like that.
