Israel ignored advanced warnings of Hamas attack

Israel was warned by Egypt of potential violence three days before Hamas' deadly cross-border raid, a US congressional panel chairman has said.

House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee head Michael McCaul told reporters of the alleged warning.

An Egyptian intelligence official told the Associated Press news agency this week that Cairo had repeatedly warned the Israelis "something big" was being planned from Gaza.

"We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The Cairo official said Israeli officials had played down the threat from Gaza, instead focusing on the West Bank.

Is this war a sham to boost Netanyahu's popularity by having him play hero?

BREAKING: Israel obtained Hamas battle plan more than year ago, NYT reports

The New York Times reports Israeli officials obtained Hamas's battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show.

"In interviews with Israeli media, soldiers of the IDF's Combat Intelligence Corps say that, for at least three months before the attacks, they observed Hamas members conducting paramilitary training along the fenceline, digging holes, studying the area with maps, examining the ground surface and even placing and detonating explosives. "

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitic...i-surveillance

That's heavy. And Netanyahu was visibly delighted when the attack happened because he knew it would pave the path for him to play hero and (re-)gain popularity.

This is nothing new. The average sheep though won't believe it.

Same with the gulf a Tonkin incident that started Vietnam.

Same with pearl harbor and all the idiots that think we didn't know it was going to happen.

Anyone who doubts that simple fact can just look up the U.S.S ward. It is stated as being the first u.s naval ship of world War 2 to sink a submarine.. it sank a Japanese sub not far out of pearl 2 hours before the attack occurred.

The base was on alert yet all the ships in the harbor were all chained together 100 yards apart. Even in the deepest peace time you don't Chai. Your ships up in Port in that close proximity.
That was done to be a target for the zeros on the first wave. They also were all world war 1 relics. All the modern ships were out on maneuvers. Waiting for the attack to start.

Most people are not aware of a little law inacted called the " SECRECY ACT"

Most things (if important and if it's very far fetched and sounds as if it can't be true it usually is) you can't talk about unless you want to be thrown in a cage or HARRASSED AND HAVE YOUR LIFE STOLEN FROM YOU.

Snowden will/can confirm that.

That far back, huh? This time we have social media so hopefully the public knows when they are being coaxed into a war. And now there are rumours of a false flag attack that will put the blame on Hamas.

Everyone knows Israel allowed the slaughter of their own people because they wanted to invade gaza and also gain unlimited financial support from the US.

Lol @ thinking it started in Vietnam. The US has been deceptively making up reasons to go to war since WW1. There has never been a war the US waged that wasn’t started by America itself.

An embargo is an act of war… also there was much more to it that stopping the supply of oil.

And why hasn’t the US invaded Israel for the atrocities it is committing in Gaza/west bank?

What does Japan’e actions in southeast asia have to do with America, the land of the free?

"But they underestimated such warnings"

LMAO

there is literally 0 doubt in my mind that they knew what was coming, and let it happen because a) the timing was perfect politically, b) was and is a great opportunity to turn gaza into a parking lot.

Nope, they were totally reliant on us for oil, and we stopped supplying them with the oil.

Allegedly not responding to intelligence about an oncoming attack =/= "starting" a war.

WWII, for example, was going on long before we got involved.

The U.S. had already soundly defeated the Japanese before the nukes were used. It's the matter of whether or not they willing to take additional American casualties taking the mainland. Okinawa was an 82 day battle with close to 50k casualties for the U.S., roughly 75k for the Japanese. That immediately preceded the decision to nuke. But after Midway, Japan was cooked.

You're contradicting yourself. You can't "soundly defeat" someone and still used nukes. Because nukes are a desperation weapon - Americans were getting mowed down in Japan. That's why they HAD to use nukes.

So you would have preferred an invasion involving the Soviets, where millions of Japanese would have died, possibly a million US troops, and for Japan to have been divided like Korea?

No one is saying land conquering is wrong. Its too much land conquering that needs to be checked. And no one steeled more land than the Europeans. Youre talking about almost half the west continent and upper half of the middle east LOL.

Only it was much more than just not responding to intelligence. Hows about bombing German ships and subs in the open seas in order to try to force a reaction from Germany. Provoking Japan only came after provoking Germany didn't work, Germany was always the main target for the US government and they used Japan as their in.

Not to mention starting wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq (x2), Panama, Grenada, Korea, and Serbia.....

Yes, the reason the US even got involved with WWI was jewish influence. Not a conspiracy theory, it's well documented even in liberal sources. The brits promised jews their own country if they could control the US and make them fight their wars.
