I don’t feel bad for them, nor do I feel bad for anyone who violates the law in response to them and finds out either.
I assume you are talking about the guy that tortured that chick and got two life sentences.
Glad he will rot too.
I respect people who steal more than I respect people who are chomping at the bit looking for what they think is legal justification to kill someone.

In that case, I don't think he should have gotten the rest of his life in prison because I think after having your home broken into a dozen times it would drive a man crazy. I think the police should be held accountable fo rdoing nothing. I think the burglars asked for it.

Another thread on this 9 year old story.
I have no issues with the fact that 2 home invaders got smoked.
I have an issue with executing people who no longer pose any threat. He went from legitimate self defense to a punitive execution.

If he got like ten years, I would not have a strong feeling he should have gotten more. I probably wouldn’t even think twice about it.
As far as the cops not solving the issue, they do not have any legal obligation to do so. I think that is important. They should be protected for reasons.
They literally cannot stop crime. So they cannot be expected to.
Cops are mostly administrators after the fact. We as a population have to understand and accept that.
It is pretty hard for me to place significant blame on them.

You get to defend your home, you dont get to neutralize them and then shoot them in the head later on with a different weapon saying "your dead", wrapping up bodies in tarps and calling police days later, thats called murder son
Imagine being stupid enough to record it too

Also, they were both dead pretty fast. He didn't sit there and torture them at length as you suggest. You are correct in that he was losing his marbles at that point, but how certain are you that you wouldn't turn into a paranoid mess after being burglarized numerous times for months by the same people?
