Taxation: To start off, only about half of the population has to pay taxes. Most people get back more than they contribute. From there, you pay taxes on already taxed income that you didn't see because your employers had to pay them on you. Then, you continue to pay more taxes (sales tax for instance) with already taxed money, and the things you do buy with that taxed money has taxes within them. In all you are paying close to 50% taxes.

Foreign Aid: It's poor people in rich countries paying rich people in poor countries. Most of the money is squandered.

Being a productive citizen. See Taxation. If you are a responsible productive citizen, you will be held accountable and have to carry the load for everyone who isn't.

They got away with truency of the child because he is poor and couldn't afford the gas to take the kids to school even though there is a bus, but "my kids don't want to ride the bus" and they let that go.Most people who call themseves experts are usually morons who just know how to talk.

Social Security is the real scam. After contributing for 35 years, if my wife and I were to die today, our adult kids wouldn't get a penny from SS. They would, however, split my IRA.

We get taxed on our gross pay and then pay taxes on nearly everything we do in life! On a monthly basis you get taxed like 50%. It's fucking insane. The US govt does not need this kind of money from us because they don't do shit to make our lives better.

yeah the real tax rate after all the nickel and dime stuff is crazy. in my state we pay yearly tax based on value to own a vehicle, tax to purchase it then tax on the gas. tax on cell service, internet, tv, food, house, income, anything you buy, tax on stock you sell, etc. it's everywhere and people vote for more of it
