Why do some people say that water

Has no taste?

To me water has always been my favorite drink. That and mill and yes I've always thought it had a taste

I never thought about that before OP. The levels of calcium, magnesium and potassium, and other minerals in water never crossed my mind. Neither did alkalinity or acidity. Things like ion-exchange and reverse osmosis were witchcraft to me until I read this post, and I now realize, water can indeed taste different.

Bottle water has no taste, but mineral water has taste it has sorta a metal taste to it

acidic water taste the best and it taste sweet but bad for you, alkaline water is suppose to be good but taste like chit
