Legitimate comparisons of Trump's speech to Hitler's speech are made. Cultists get angry. Cultists resort to personal attacks and ad hominems. Cultists declare victory.
On Australia's immigration issue, it's a hyperbolized issue by the media and blogosphere. Asylum seekers arriving by boat are categorized as illegal by political entities but they usually aren't. They're not breaking a law by coming here, they're classified as asylum seekers until their case is assessed.
Illegal immigrants here usually arrive by plane and overstay their visa. Anyone claiming that illegal immigrations come here by boat is lying, because we got almost no illegal immigration because we signed and actually helped write the Refugee Convention. Fleeing a country by any mode of transport to apply for asylum is hence, legal.
We do attract a lot of skilled migration which increases our population and bolsters our consumption economy, which is how migration is meant to work.

If the police know or reasonably suspect that you are an unlawful non-citizen, they must arrest and detain you. You will be kept in immigration detention until removed from Australia or granted a visa. The Migration Regulations 1994 contain restrictions on which visas unlawful non-citizens are able to apply for.
https://www.gotocourt.com.au/immigration/deportation/
A person can be forcibly removed from Australia in two ways, either by deportation or by removal. Deportation of a person requires a specific deportation order to be made under section 206 of the Migration Act 1958 and it is used in relation to Australian permanent residents only. In contrast, removal is an automatic process used for those held in immigration detention. It does not require any specific order to be made.
People who are removed from Australia are unlawful non-citizens who do not have a valid visa to be in Australia. This may be because their visa has expired or been cancelled. If you are an unlawful non-citizen the Department of Home Affairs will generally detain you in immigration detention and remove you from Australia as soon as practicable. You can avoid being removed by departing Australia voluntarily.

By the 1930s, the people in Soviet Russia were catching on to anti freedom rhetoric, so they changed their speech to more freedom based rhetoric. They began using the word "democracy" far more frequently, and using phrases like "more democracy" and "to save democracy".
While the left pretends to be experts on Hitler, they fail to make the obvious connection between Leninism and themselves. Causing the rise of violence through the struggle between the oppressor and oppressed, and breaking the system under the guise of democracy. Lenin documented how his tactics, being used by the democrats, caused civil unrest, which Stalin pushed even further, causing rioting, murder, and mass theft from the business owners and farmers.
If the left wasn't so obsessed with Hitler, maybe they could see their own similarities to Stalin and Leninism. Trump makes an easy target to distract and exploit the simpletons that lack any knowledge of history.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but Hillary literally wants MAGA cheerers to go to re-education camps.
Also a majority of Democrats in the US wanted people imprisoned and their children taken away from them if they refused to get the Covid shots 2 years ago. It's rather plain to see which party is authoritarian, Hitleresque.
