Rate Sunday night chowder/10

Decided to make a corn and sausage chowder. I rarely cook any type of sausage so wanted to try something different. It's actually pretty good.

Happy Sunday!

Yes it is. Every Sunday I make some type of soup, stew or chowder in my slow cooker. I like it during the cold months.

looks good. Reminds me of the sausage and gnocchi dish I made the other night... which turned into a chowder

Spoiler!

All happy accidents are good accidents, imo. Bob Ross said so. Chowders are always good. I do wish I used ground sausage instead of diced up links, but ehh.

Oh wow that looks so good. I love gnocchi. I ended up using and italian sweet ground sausage for this. There's different kinds and I never cook sausage so I was winging it.

I've never had italian sweet, just italian hot. I think I made a sausage + potato soup (not chowder) once and I added a bunch of red pepper flakes. Very good

Also same here, I don't cook sausage much. Mostly because I don't know enough recipes for anything sausage.

Spoiler!
jk kooks great. Perfect time of year for soup.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
