Do you support the arts or creativity?
I just saw a YouTube video on a subject I like, and the video was very well done and overall the guy who made the video did a fantastic job with it, so I tipped him a little bit of money, just $10. He was super thankful and I get the impression he rarely gets anything like that, if ever.
I saw some artwork done I thought was really good, and I'm thinking about reaching out to the artist to see if I can buy a print or something. Hell maybe if they will do some custom art for me, I'd pay much more for that. I also get the impression they are used to doing **** for free or getting little compensation for their work.
Not so much talking about buying movies or band shirts. Do you ever see something good being made on the internet and feel like showing support, financially? Tipping them some money, etc?
Id never tip a server for some food, but I'd be glad to tip an artist, srs.

I don't really bother selling it anymore since my irl job is now way better then it was back then.
I had a really nice profitable setup. I was the manager of a Costco photo lab for a few years, and was able to get my prints in high quality for absolutely dirt cheap, while also being able to fine color tune them since I was doing the printing. It cost me 1.99 to make a 12x18 poster that I could sell at a booth or online for $20. I would do pop culture related posters and stuff. Mostly like cult pop culture related things, classic 80s chit and what not. Just crap I liked back then.
It was fun when I was younger. Then Costco shut down all the photo labs and kinda ruined it for me lol. I could print like 10 posters and just chalk them up as 'test prints' and take them for free lulz.

Better than tipping an OF girl for sure.
I'm not against it, I'm just not exposed to the arts much. I do tip really well at my local bars and chiet.

As an artist who hasn't sold his work yet, but is planning to in the near future, yes lol

I don’t consider art to be “creative” so to speak
Drawing and imitating real life objects is their job
Or to put it another way, it’s not as creative as people make it out to be
