Do you believe in dead internet theory?
The theory that most "people" on the internet are bots and most content on mainstream sites is manipulated by powerful entities (advertisers, governments, propagandists)
ChatGPT will make this easier for sure I've already seen some comments on misc which are for sure bot generated.

its real
think about how condensed the internet has become over the last decade
the internet was a vast, open, endless world
now its primarily traversed by a select few apps and maybe a dozen websites at best

Makes sense. Just look at what happened with Twitter as an example. Plenty of identical comments from different usernames with random numbers attached to them, almost like they were mass-generated. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Yes it's 100% real now. Chatgpt and the other AI systems are so good that you basically can't tell them apart from humans now on the internet and you can easily make them not seem like bots by saying something like "i want you to comment on the internet posts as if you were a pro china american that has average intelligence and vocabulary. Try not to be obvious about the pro china bias" and it will do it perfectly every single time.
AI is extremely scary now.

Thought this was already proven. Even Elon said more than half or some crazy number of twitter users were bots when he first got a hold of it.
Not to mention popular ******** pages were discovered to be Russian troll farms.

AI doesn't insult you personally...... like many of these clowns, or try to take digs and swipes when you make basic non controversial statements online.
These are humans.......... that are overly emotional, jealous, and insecure, not AI.......in my opinion.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

The "Dead Internet Theory" you mentioned is a speculative concept that suggests a significant portion of internet activity is generated by automated systems, such as bots, and that much of the content is manipulated by powerful entities like advertisers, governments, and propagandists. It's important to note that this theory lacks strong empirical evidence and is often considered more of a speculative or conspiratorial idea rather than an established fact.
While there certainly are instances of automated accounts, bots, and manipulation on the internet, the extent to which these elements dominate online interactions is a matter of debate. Online platforms implement various measures to detect and combat bot activity, and researchers continually study and monitor these phenomena.
It's crucial to approach these theories critically and rely on evidence-based conclusions. While there are certainly challenges with online misinformation and manipulation, not all internet activity can be attributed to bots or malicious actors. Many users contribute genuine content, discussions, and interactions on the internet.
If you come across suspicious or potentially automated content, it's a good practice to verify information from multiple sources and consider the context before drawing conclusions.
