I feel like I am peaking right now in my gaming life
Ever Since I bought a new TV and put my older 65" cx oled in my game room on my pc
I had a tv in there but it was a poverty tv and I didn't care to play on it, really just existed for the racing sim. 10 year old Vizio 4k/60hz
Now here I am playing apex legends 4k/120hz, response times just as good as my competitive gaming monitor, got my feet kicked up laying on my giant bean bag because I am controller master race apex player.
Racing sim is lightyears better now at 120hz
Bout to throw my 240hz Asus in the trash
Feel like I finally have a setup I want to run thru some single player games on
My living room now has a 77" qd oled for the consoles so they got a juicy upgrade also.
My ascension is complete for now. I should have bought an oled for my game room years ago.
And I have/had covid so I can't even go to my girls dad's house for Thanksgiving so I am actually going to be sitting here gaming probably the entire weekend since gf will be at her dad's with visiting family. It sounds weird but I am kind of excited to actually do nothing on Thanksgiving this year.
That is all
Happy holidays
Edit, I have no idea how or why a thumbs down is in my post title. That was accidental. It's the opposite, thumbs up

Good for you man. This is why I'm even a bigger fan of gaming than a year ago when I first got my PS5. I had a 4k TV but it was a low end one. On PC I used an average monitor, it was just something I was used to and it never registered in my mind how much if a difference a top tier panel would make.
Now I have a 77 OLED right next to my bed which I can play in comfort and the surprising thing is the jump in visuals to me was just as big as moving from the PS4 to PS5, if not more. Really happy I made that expensive gamble as where I live you can only import these things, there's no stores you can go to see them in person. Absolute game changer, it's my favorite purchase in years.

I swear I read studies which claimed weed made you much less likely to get covid. Must be BS

To me peak gaming is younh adult to middle age, you can afford anything you want, hopefully have built a career that offers you enough free time, and your reflexes and eye sight are still good enough. Wish I could pause life right here (well maybe a few years ago for me, LoL) to be honest. Anyone gaming now is just so spoiled the the large amount of high quality games too. What a time to be alive.
