So they're already redoing that franchise too now, huh? Didn't they just finish the last movie a few years ago or something?

I just saw the Jennifer Lawrence one for the first time this year, and they are already remaking it? It’s barely been 10 years

This onemightactually turn a profit, which would be a first for her. She has quickly made herself box office poison with that mouth of hers, so this Hunger Games will not pull in half the box office of any of the prior films.

The author of the books wrote this prequel in 2020 and Hollywood is afraid of risk so they're trying this out. Bad timing though. The opening weekend for this prequel pulled in less than 1/3rd of what the original film did it's opening weekend at the box office.
