Did americans teach their kids to not say certain words (old days)

Example. Many households here we told growing up you cant say "yup" instead of yes. Because you sound like a bitch.

There are words, phrases, and behaviors that are telling of someone being low status and low class. Even if you live in a single wide in a trailer park in Alabama eliminating these are maybe the only thing that might help you dig your way out and if you want better for your kids you better be on that. Poors think wearing name brand clothing and even driving a nice care will disguise them being low class but then when they reveal their low class ways they only dig that hole deeper.

Im not talking about that i thought about the toxic masculine times. I got shamed for saying something is beautiful.
Now as an adult, i go out of my way to use those feminine ass words.

In the new days I tell all the kids in my family to not say "bruh", or any other swaggot slang. Especially the girls.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
