Sure he did. It was short lived though, to be fair. Germany quickly (and briefly) went from decimated by WW1 and cucked by the Treaty of Versailles with an atrocious economy into a powerhouse...for a time. Obviously WW2 ultimately didn't turn out well for them, however.

The thing is, Hitler's entire model was built around spoils of war and taking huge amounts of debt. Warmongering was inevitable from Hitler's model. He made no secret of the fact that he needed Russian energy and also to expand German lands.

Couple things I have noticed that history always tries to erase. One, barely any speeches of his are translated...almost like they don't want you to know what he said. And what he said there? Nothing inflammatory. If anything it sounded very patriotic.
