bipolar is a range of "crazy". A lot of creative folk's, especially girls, fall somewhere on the bipolar spectrum. I've been dealing with them for most of my life. Anyhow, if uncontrolled it's pretty hard to date them, yet alone work on projects with them. If they are taking meds and are aware of the changes in their disease over time (i.e. know when to get back to the therapist for a med change) then they can be great. If you're going to date or be friends then you should learn how to handle them when they have episodes.

BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and Bipolar are different illnesses but have some similarities. It's very easy to get the two mixed up.

I am seeing more Bipolar diagnoses with Gen Z girls. It's hard to know if this was there all along or if there is just more mental health awareness these days. Some get medicated and some don't.

Bipolar is the one illness where medication is definitely needed to keep the symptoms in check, but many times they go off of their medications because the mania feels so good.

BPD usually needs medication but it's a personality disorder so it requires a special kind of therapy called Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I perform Dialectical Behavioral Therapy even though I don't meet all of the criteria of BPD, but a lot of them.

It sucks to live with mental illness and know that most men won't tolerate it. It's not like you wake up and ask for it.

I did my research. Today I saw my mom again she asked about my brother and the woman that I'm involved with. It breaks my heart so much. I have to wait out a couple of weeks to figure out whether or not how she feels is real or if it's bipolar disorder related. That is so stressful. I tried to talk to the woman today because I felt like she was ignoring me. She ignored me on my birthday dropped off my food early before she knew I'd be home. Her mom even said she was in the shower but she came out 10 minutes later and she her hair was completely dry and her makeup that would take an hour was fully applied.
Anyway I decided oh it's 2 in the morning she usually gets home around that time so wait outside for 5 minutes and sure enough she pulls up. And I said you know you can't just ignore me we're f****** neighbors and doesn't work that way. We just need to have a f*** off conversation and I'll leave you alone. The day after my birthday she said we were cool. The only thing I did different was call her and a****** when she walked by twice without talking to me. She never wished me a happy birthday. She literally has to walk by my place just to get her mail. There's no avoiding this. We have to have that final conversation. It shouldn't even be our final conversation because she said we were cool the day after my birthday. Any sane person who would understand why I flip the f*** out the day after my birthday like the night of the day after my birthday what you walk by and ignored my ass. Keep in mind this is after delivering chicken alfredo 5 minutes before I was going to be home to my neighbors place and then pretending she had family issues. I am so upset about that because she's playing a game where I can't get closure.
