I’d love to talk about the connections between the pineal gland and alchemy, but not sure we are ready for that conversation.

Not hearing peoples thoughts but the ability to anticipate others thoughts/reactions, read their body language and see things from their perspective, used to be a common social communication skill but now like 50% of the population is autistic.

Well they are making more and more autistics which has wrecked non verbal communication skills for starters.

What’s that saying more than 80% of communication is non verbal.

It’s crazy how schools focus more on teaching that 20% than the 80%

Do the other peoples thought tell you things?
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

"Reading thoughts" is not possible. Reading the projection coming from those around you is. The term seems to be controversial, but I've heard it referred to as social IQ. "Reading the room" is a more accurate phrase than "reading thoughts".

It doesn't require a lot of empathy, just social awareness. It's taught to police officers and soldiers for a different purpose, but shows that it's more about observation. That said, the opposite end of the spectrum is autism and sociopathy. What's more interest is that people with too much empathy can misread others who don't project a lot. In fact, they are intimidated by the stoic because they learned to control their emotions and projections. They can also mistaken strong character for abrasiveness and hate.
One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

I wouldn’t say so much as hear their thoughts but if you’re really empathetic you can read people really well

You’ll pickup on a lot of subtle body language and facial expressions others would miss

Reading peoples' body language isn't reading thoughts. You can just gain insight and predict with uncertainty.

I personally believe telepathy is 100% possible, and I believe “they” know it is possible too,

And that’s why “they” do everything in their power to interfere with our ability to communicate.

Telepathy would works like any other form of communication, there needs to be proper alignment in the receiver and sender.

Any slight interference = signal not sent/received

More like mental illness. Empathy is an intricate and multifaceted aspect of human interconnectivity, standing as an ineffable phenomenon, weaving the fabric of interpersonal relationships with an elaborate tapestry of emotional resonance. The profound depth of empathetic understanding propels individuals into the intricate realms of shared sentiment, fostering connections that transcend the mundane boundaries of everyday interaction. In navigating this labyrinth of emotional intricacies, it is imperative to delineate the boundaries that demarcate empathy from the fantastical specter of telepathic cognizance.

The heightened sensitivities inherent in empathetic individuals form the crucible within which the alchemy of profound connection transpires. This heightened emotional awareness becomes the crucible wherein the amalgamation of shared experiences and reciprocal sentiments transmutes into the gold of genuine human connection. Yet, it is imperative to disentangle this empathetic journey from the ethereal aspirations of mind-reading, a trope relegated to the realms of speculative fiction.

Within this intricate dance of emotional attunement, the enigma of thought remains ensconced in the sanctity of privacy, eluding the tendrils of empathetic exploration. Despite the profound depth plumbed by empathy, it behooves us to acknowledge its limitations, as the sacred citadel of individual cognition resists the incursion of empathetic inquiry. The elusive nature of thought, with its labyrinthine corridors and concealed chambers, persists as an impervious bastion against the empathetic interloper.

In synthesizing the quintessence of this discourse, one must traverse the convoluted pathways of nuanced differentiation, demarcating the authentic terrain of empathetic understanding from the illusory plains of speculative fantasy. For, in the inexorable dance between empathetic communion and the fantastical yearning for telepathic communion, the boundaries between reality and fiction become obscured in the intricate folds of linguistic elaboration.

However, it is essential to clarify that empathy does not extend to the realm of telepathy or mind-reading. Empathetic individuals possess a heightened sensitivity to emotions, enabling them to forge deep emotional connections with those around them. This heightened awareness contributes to a richer understanding of others' experiences, fostering compassion and meaningful connections.

Despite the depth of empathy, thoughts remain inherently private and inaccessible through empathetic means. While empathetic individuals can offer support and comfort based on shared emotions, they do not have the ability to perceive or decipher the specific thoughts of others. The popularized concept of mind-reading, often portrayed in fictional narratives, should be distinguished from the authentic nature of empathy in real-life interactions.

In essence, the empathetic experience revolves around emotional resonance rather than a supernatural ability to tap into the intricate web of someone else's thoughts. Empathy enriches interpersonal relationships by cultivating understanding and compassion, yet it does not breach the boundaries of mental privacy or grant access to the inner workings of the mind.
