That's not a terrible question- I'm not signals engineer or anything but even with basic radio frequencies its possible.

But I'm sure its not out of this world to be able to track the distance of a man-made object that is able to transmit some sort of signal to Earth. Are you thinking they had some sort of video feed using intelligent tracking like we see on todays drones? Lol

Signal monitoring antenna's of the 60s was plenty for tracking the signal being emitted from the craft. (you can actually build one fairly cheaply today using random electronics.) From there you can triangulate.

Using math plus telescopes makes it very easy. Trajectory math allows you to calculate where the craft should be and then start looking.

There are also radar dishes that can track the metal of the capsule very easily.

At bare minimum they got a capsule with people into lunar orbit. Landed a robot that makes footprints and can place a big old mirror and launched something back from the lunar lander with rocks in it that were than captured by the capsule.

Quite simply with 1960s electronics you would have an easier time with just landing the people.

Moon landing footage being faked isn't definitive proof that the moon landing itself didn't happen though.

They went to the moon "six times", they took a dune buggy and they went golfing. They took one the most iconic pictures of all time called Earthrise showing planet Earth on the horizon of the moon. But they took it with settings that did not show the stars, when a Earthrise photo surrounded by stars would have been way better, and impossible to fake. They also never found room for a photographic telescope that would taken unbelievable photos of the stars. So bored they were four wheeling and golfing, but no pictures of the stars from the moon? No real photographic evidence that can prove it beyond doubt???




So when they launch artimis I want 8k+ live video from launch to them landing on the moon and back again with atleast 5 cameras or they can fuk off with that **** too.

The lifting off of the upper half of the lunar module from the surface of the moon was, of course, filmed by the long forgotten crew member they left behind to film it for posterity. He was, understandably, a bit peeved at being chosen for this, but great art requires sacrifice.

Or maybe it was just filmed from a remotely operated camera attached to the lunar rover they left behind.
