If you want a healthy alternative to coffee in the morning for a solid energy

Boost. Try 4 tablespoons of 100% pure unsweetened cocoa.

Mix with mill or water.

Taste like chit but very healthy and the energy is there.

If the taste is too bland for some by its self can mix with whey.

I just chug it down fast to get by the taste..

It works.

Just as much energy of not more minus the coffee jitters.

You will have to explain how ingesting cocoa keeps you from staying natty? That's a new one on me.

I think that goes without saying not sure how that has anything o do with drinking cocoa either for the natural energy boost or the health benefits of it which is one of the highest forms of antioxidants you can get not to mention flavanoids .

I personally don't see anything wrong with coffee every now and then I love it but caffeine in all honesty is chit. It was originally on the Harrison act of 1911 which outlawed all the drugs in the United States that were once legal to buy..

But at the midnight hour they took caffeine off that list. I guess all the politicians decided they didn't want to give up their coffee and did not want to be labeled a hardened criminal for ingesting caffeine into their body.

Just think guys 12 hours is all it took to keep all coffee drinkers from being good upstanding citizens one day to a pos felon deserving of being in a cage the next..

Fascinating!

Lol nothing wrong with that my friend.

Life is too short to go through it never enjoying anything we take pleasure In just because it may not be the healthiest alternative.

I think moderation is almost key to everything.

Coffee is already healthy

It’s the MOST antioxidant rich food there is, look it up. ORAC value higher than berries, spinach, grapes, etc.

I would draw your attention to the second link in particular, which contains an article wherein you will find a chart listing the ORAC values of different foods. You will note that Coffee (espresso) exceeds all other foods traditionally considered to be antioxidant-rich.

True 100% pure cocoa yeah buddy.

Not the cocoa powder chocolate flavor b.s

Just look at the ingredients if it only says pure cocoa you are good to go. If it has a bunch of other chit you can't pronounce its garbage..

You don't have to take my word for it just look it up.

If you are health conscious you will. If not just ingest whatever you want

But as said you can't bog it down with a ton of sugar to try and make ot taste good. Just forget it down. You aren't drinking it for the taste

Why is coffee unhealthy?

Please consult crews below

I've foraged for dandelions and dried+roasted the roots to make coffee. If that sounds appealing to you, that's also a nice alternative.

Pure cocoa powder is the schit, though. When I cut, I make a protein pudding that has many tablespoons per serving with 90% dark chocolate. It's literally a cocoa bomb.

I can't confirm it is determintal to one's health. Just commenting on caffeine on general at least in excess..

But again it's one of those things you just have to weigh the good vs the bad of it. We can't cut everything out of our life we enjoy cause it might have a few bad side affects. I was just saying this for those who drink.coffee for energy from caffeine and not ao.much because they drink it cause they enjoy the taste..

But yes I agree completely cocoa is A+ across the boars for health benefits

I've developed an affinity for dark roasty tastes in adulthood. When I was younger, I was really picky and didn't like anything. I only began drinking coffee in my 20s and then got into stouts and imperial stouts and all things very intense and roasty. I like a really intense bitter black coffee. I've never consumed it for the caffeine. If you gave me a similarly tasty decaf I'd have it.
