I haven’t slept for 6 days, help misc…

. I was recently layed off from job, than right after that learned my grandma has cancer that’s spreading. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried sleeping aids like valerian that did nothing. Tried a sleeping pill that did nothing. How ****ed am I? :/

I wish they sold minerals separately from vitamins . Back in the day Usona sold minerals by themselves , and I’d take one with two calcium and it was lights out .
Vitamins will keep you up ,so don’t buy a vitamin / mineral supplement. Believe it or not calcium and minerals can cause you to relax , almost like some medications do .

Use blue blocker glasses when you use any electronic device , as your phones, tablet and tv are puking out blue light , quantum dot technology especially.

Not sure if you’ve tried melatonin. It actually doesn’t help me fall asleep till it’s time to get up . Maybe it will be different for you

Try getting bottomed out by a 400lb bear snorting Cialis in a gimp outfit. That might do it.

This happened to me when I quit drinking. Went 5 days before I went to the doc and begged for some sleeping pills. Go get some meds to help with that before you start to lose cognitive ability and start hallucinating.

Get benzos & quiteapine. Quiteapine will knock you the fukk out at 50mg combined w a 10mg v4lium. I use it to sleep everyday, not val. But quiteapine.

It has no bad long term effects if you keep it at sub 200mg. But i still would only use it when needed.
When you stop you probably will sleep bad for 2 nights max. When i dont take it i just stay up couple hrs longer than usual & im back to normal the next night.
Great for fixing sleep schedule. But if its anxiety keeping you up, get the v4l for it. Because the quiteapine wont knock you out if youre sweating bullets

If youre really up for 6 days. Id get the first benzo i could. Be it a xanny bar or whatever, & go to bed. Quiteapine can be a struggle to get off scrib

This brah knows. Quetiapine not only makes you sleep (at low doses like he describes) it is also an anti-psychotic but mostly in higher doses. Although it sounds drastic, is a good thing becuase at this level of sleep deprivation mania and psychosis are a serious thing.

My gf has bad sleep problems due to anxiety and left with no intervention she's gone manic and holy hell that is a place you do not want to be. I've seen her turn from the very mild mannered caring women she is, to utterly unhinged and needing to be restrained by security in A&E. This is no joke.

This will be 12 days now. All I had was a few moments of dozing off for a couple minutes here and there. Sleeping pills are doing nothing. I’ve tried some sleeping aids like valerian and it did nothing. I don’t know what to do. Can the brain just forget how to sleep? Is it possible I won’t ever sleep again? 🥲

You need an anti-anxiety pill brother, not a sleeping pill, to help relax you and deal with these issues, then sleep will come. Klonopin comes to mind. Talk to a doctor.

I'm sorry you're going through all of this.

Melatonin has helped me, but that I also get that groggy feeling the next morning.

Go on Ebay and buy 1Kg of Fireweed tea, will cost a fair bit but that stuff is a natural anti-anxiety tea. You can't buy that in stores.

Drink 2 cups of that before bed. You can also add Magnolia bark if you want (capsules).

Hope that helps. It did for me, and I **** you not, I went without sleep for 60 days several years ago, and that tea was the only thing that worked. I discovered it by accident.
