My grandmother just died. She was 99 years old

How sad, Misc.

Sure, she was born a century ago, but still.

It's crazy how humans just disappear like that after having been around for a fair bit of time.

Well, to pay homage to her, I've decided to pay certain groups to fly a long line of Lockheed L101 Tristars over a certain major city, all flying in uniform formation.

My grandmother wasn't famous or a monarch or some great and important person or anything like that, but she was a fan of the L1011 Tristar, so I hope she sees my feat and smiles down from her throne onElysiumElysium...ur...I mean heaven.

It's crazy. She was healthy and fit; didn't suffer from any illness or myopia or anything like that and all her organs were healthy.

I don't wanna entertain conspiracy theories during this sad time, but a little voice is whispering in my ear "somebody killed your granny".

Crazy. Healthy for 99 years and then...just gone, like that.

If I were Russia/Ukraine, this would be like losing the Antonov Mriya.

Scientists say humans could theoretically live until 140...without any biological/genetic engineering.

So...theoretically, she could have still gone for 40 more years. But she was telling me last year that she was "getting a bit bored". How sad...to be that "old" nd be realizing you've seen it all before and it's all getting a bit boring now. She was still happy to see us regularly though...

Was she a jabbie? Atleast she wasn't taken before her time, that's a good time to go tbh. 99 years is a long time.

My last grandma lived to be 101 and my other one died at 94.

Was fortunate to have been very close with all my grandparents and still dream about them once in a while.
