TLOU1 PS5 is $70 on PlayStation store but looks no better than the PS4 Remaster

Look at the picture attached to this post. It seems like they edited alot of things out of the remake of the game. A common complaint of the remake is that the picture looks washed out. So let me get this straight, they slightly upgraded the textures, edited a bunch of chit out, and changed the lighting making the picture look like a washed out poor man's RTX On. All that is worth $70 guys.

Not only that, but you posted a video that only goes to 1080p, not a good example at all.

The Last of Us 2 is hands down one of the best looking games right now especially on an OLED TV. I'm sure 1 looks just as good.

Unlike you OP I actually own the game and it looks vastly different from the PS4 version from 10 years ago. The fidelity is insane, character models are the best in the game and the lighting/HDR gives the visuals a ton of pop and realism. Obviously looking at a low quality YouTube comparison on your chitty phone isn't gonna tell the story, not even close. I knew you were dumb but this is bad even for you.

So it's doesn't bother you that they edited out things out the game? The visuals are nowhere close to realism, infact I'm not basing my assumptions on this single video/picture in the OP. Check out this video 4:35 mark:



Lighting ruins the picture making it look grainy and washed out. Realism my àss. It's okay to be objective and admit that this was a lazy, half àss remake and definitely isn't worth $70. Sony won't hate you any less, you already buy all their games regardless.

Lil bro you're watching a YouTube video lol. There are a ton of details you're gonna miss if you don't have it running on a big 4k screen with HDR capabilities. You're not gonna sway me with your only opinion coming from compressed poverty YouTube videos when I have the actual game running on my TV.

You're being beyond dumb here. Nothing is grainy and washed out in the actual game, it looks fantastic.

This lol, these games just aren't the type of thing I would want to experience over and over again anyways. It's also funny how they have been selling this same game for 3 generations now. Only Rockstar and Sony seem to get away with releasing the same game every gen, but at least GTAV is fun to mess around in.

They should remaster Last of Us so the zombie virus is caused by people smelling their own farts. Would better reflect the people working on it and the fanatics of the games and chit-tier TV show.

The best game of the forever. No game comes anywhere close to perfection as much as the first game. This is basically where RE should’ve gone.

Oh this is the guy? Lmao no wonder he's blind as hell. I definitely thought this was another xbot troll thread at first.

I started TLOU remake on a low end 4k TV and just upgrading to a high end 4k was a massive world of a difference. 1080p being much worse than even my old 4k, lacking all the details and HDR, then adding a ton of compression to that and you really have a terribly weak basis for any comparison.
