Why do they have seperate women only chess tournaments?

Just saw they have women only tournaments and a woman's chess world champion. Why dont they just play together with the men?

Now all we need to do is find a male chess player who couldn't quite cut the mustard with the guys, tell people he identifies as a woman, and rig the women's chess championship tournaments!

The strongest woman chess player right now is ranked 138th overall. The second strongest woman chess player right now is ranked 424th overall. It's similar to Serena Williams at her peak ranked #1 losing to the 300th best men's tennis player 6-1, 6-0.

Men are simply better than women at EVERYTHING. Can't think of anything a woman is better at besides bitching.

Ever heard of left brain vs right brain? Chess is a very logical left brain activity. Some women are more left brain dominant than some men. But the most left brain individuals are always men. Idk, has something to do with testosterone during brain development. It can't be recreated in women. It's just how humans are wired.

think of the millions of men that have nothing to do except think about smart people stuff and develop their intellect....nobody for sex, not much social life, etc -- just autistic dedication to various topics.

far less women in that category because the vast majority of women can pursue sex, children and do have social lives. maybe you got 50 men for every 1 woman that can fit into this niche.

Womens are better at two things, srs. Surviving starvation, and pain tolerance. These are built in by nature to survive child birth, and famine.

Misc had a thread about this recently. When I play bullet (really really fast chess, where you have to move instantly) I regularly beat professional titled women players, thou I know less about the game than they do. They have a higher rating in slow chess, and have spent many more hours than me studying the game, but they are just too slow, and lack killer instinct. Men are trickier, they want to win badly, they are survivors, women just get confused and give up too easily.

It's tradition. It dates back to Egyptian times when the game was invented. Women were forbidden from playing against men. If they were caught doing it, the King would personally strip the offending woman down to her bare ass and tie her up. He would then paint her in honey and put her on a boat down the Nile. Bees and other such insects would sting and bite as she slowly dies of heat exhaustion and dehydration. They called it the Honey Cruise.

Because if men and women competed against each other, the men would be far superior and the women would never win anything. So basically, the women want their own special category because they aren't as good as the men. It's pretty stupid though, since it's basically an admission that they're worse than men in a logic/intelligence based game where physical strength is irrelevant.
