Is it just me or is the true nextgen feature xcloud….
My mind is kind of blown with the quality of xcloud. I’m playing games on Xbox without an Xbox and it looks great on even just your iPhone. I don’t know why Sony is not on the ball with this. Remote Play is trash for me but xcloud is like butter. Just smooth and flawless. I’ve tried out quite a bit in there. Dead Space remake, Hitman trilogy, A plague tale, Starfield and every game looks great. I hope they keep adding more to it.

MS is definitely a league ahead of sony in this department. It'll take a few before sony can catch up.

It streams at 1080p resolution or lower, so if you're a fan of modern gaming with all the bells and whistles in graphics it will not look good on your nice 4k TV.
Even with great internet there's still gonna be extra latency on top of what you get running a game on the console locally. This could be fine for casual low paced games but racing games, action games, fighting and other games like shooters will suffer a lot from lag.

It's still at it's early stages but if Xcloud performs this well ATM, can't imagine the future.
Fk the Good Poster Crew (Lockdev, Pink, Kimm, Wasps, Expatriot, Mulloway, Luc1fer, Smallpeter, gwg, Super Hercules, Bonobo, maori-rap, Based Bagel, ezmac31, Goobaa, Godfrd and many more). You know who you are.

Have crushed quite a bit of Gears of War waiting on the lady in the car. Latency is there but tolerable if you compensate for it. But not ready for twitch shooters as mentioned above.

It didn't feel like I was getting a full product either. Theres limits to speeds and times.
XCloud is far better to me. I finished Monkey Island and Norco on my iPad without ever playing them on console.
Perfect for slower games. It also works on Oculus too, but it's not as if my Oculus has ever left my house so theres little point.
But they're still 3 years behind their promise on letting people played owned games. That would take it to another level.
I would love if Ultimate included some native mobile games though. Like Netflix does, but without Netflix. Especially with the new iPhone running games like Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed.
