Ya hang on let's just mutate to have a beak rather than teeth specifically to reduce weight and then mutate to have hollow bones specifically to reduce Wright and then mutate to have an otherwise dogsh*t circulatory system that's worthless without flight and then mutate tk have wings and then mutate to have the instinct to fly hang on while all these mutations, alone, are utter dogsh*t hinderences but only when all happen together to achieve flight will they allow for an advantage.

They are everywhere. Even humans can be seen evolving. There are groups of people born without the muscles necessary to move their ears for example. There are also groups of people born without certain tendons running from their forearms to their hands. And that's without selective pressure, imagine if everyone who had those muscles that moved their ears was dying off, you'd see these changes take place much faster.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

That's not how it works. And therein lies the issue. You have no idea how and aren't willing to go read a book. The thing about science is that you're supposed to get the knowledge and then use it to come to your own conclusions.

But sure, continue to believe that perfect ideal beings with two eyes, lips, a nose, and two ears with a full head of hair happened because of some genetic mutation or a big bank. Sounds plausible
Naturally, it appears that way, because if it were otherwise we wouldn't be here. There are an enormous number of other planets that don't harbor life because of the conditions on them, so no one is there to ponder what a nice planet they have. Even Earth was not able to support life for the first very long time of its existence.

Also, humans are perfect, ideal beings? Why are two eyes best, or two ears? Have you noticed that many, many animals on Earth also have this same body plan? Have you considered why that might be?

Might it be helpful for our survival to have more eyes that offer a more 360-degree view or simply to have much better vision than we do, maybe like an eagle's? Or is what we have simply good enough for us, all things considered?

The notion that specimens with better-developed primitive wings had an easier time getting away from predators such that better and better wings (and likely lighter bones) were selected for over time makes a lot of sense. First maybe being able to jump higher or get up an incline faster than others, then eventually gliding short distances, and so on. There were dinosaurs that could glide at the very least.

The Wiki article has a short snippet about how one of the several hypothesized models conflicts with certain physics concepts, but it doesn't say that physics prevents the other models from being accurate or that avian flight could not have evolved over time (which it plainly did).

I have no idea why anyone would be arguing about religion ITT either. Evolution doesn't conflict at all with a belief in God.

If we’re talking about the God in the Bible it sure does. According to that mythology humans were created directly in his image. We can’t go around changing over time.

Everything on this earth is DESIGNED in order to survive and also play an essential role in the ecosystem it belongs to. This fact itself is proof that theres no way any of this could have happened randomly. You're arguing that a total random happening led to the development of creatures who could survive and fall perfectly within a self sustaining ecosystem? How does that seem reasonable to you?

How could an ecosystem such as the ones on earth be so perfectly designed to sustain life randomly? From the germs to plants to insects, birds, prey, predator it everything fits perfectly together.

If you grabbed random puzzle pieces and threw them on the ground then what are the chances that all the pieces would fit together perfectly? That's basically is what you're saying happened on earth, and we would be talking about billions of puzzle pieces here.

There is never a halfway point because every organism is finished and doesn't change, the offspring may change, but the organism themselves don't.

Having a different shape skull and missing a group of muscles aren't even close to the same thing.

This is total nonsense. (A) Show me an ecosystem that is "perfectly designed" to sustain life. (B) Don't you suppose that plants and animals might adapt over time to changing conditions (particularly because conditions on Earth have changed drastically over time, and there have been several times where almost every living thing on Earth died as a result) rather than conditions being designed around plants and animals?

Adapting over time is not a "total random happening." Some Miscers seriously need to learn about what they are arguing vehemently against before they argue vehemently against it.

You just said it works that way. Say what you mean, don't give some half or quarter message and then get upset when I say ti myself "ok, I'll talk to you based on YOUR understanding because it's still wrong anyways."

I am constantly inundated with pro-rvolution folks that say "it's subtle differences generation to generation" and others that say "it's a drastic mutation" and others that say "it's both together" and others that say "one is true the other is not" even you mother f*cksrs don't know what it is.

this is assuming each animal with slightly more pronounced wings also uniformly had offspring with the same characteristic. except its a supposed gene mutation that produced the wing humps in the first place, and now conveniently all its offspring ALSO have the same mutation.

what if a couple offspring revert back to the norm (no wing humps). now millions of years of progress to build wings is gone.

whats crazy is that some researchers have done advanced computer modeling of evolution and cannot get it to work. there is too much randomness involved to get it to neatly align to a uniformly smooth transition of species.

considering buying this book as some researcher did the modeling and came to the conclusion there must be an intelligent source guiding the process as he could not reconcile it with probability and math

It doesn't require that all offspring have it, and the offspring that did have it would perhaps have been more likely than siblings without it to survive long enough to reproduce (or reproduce more), and so on.

I believe in God now because of my schizophrenia. I told him as he was one of my voices, "Nice job on the fossil fuel" Hinting he purposely timed evolution for us to have gasoline. It was all perfect. Too perfect how life came about.
You are your thoughts. Life is perception, thoughts are perception, perception is reality ergo thoughts are reality, I think therefore I am.

Whether there is a need or not is debatable given that evolution says nothing about the universe as a whole. And the "created in his image" post above does not take into account the possibility that God may not have simply molded us out of dirt like some desert-dwellers several thousand years ago apparently imagined but may instead have more nuanced methods for achieving his goals.

I'm not arguing it one way or the other ITT, but evolution being an accurate description of the development of life on Earth does not exclude the possibility of God, nor would the existence of God exclude the possibility of evolution accurately describing the development of life on Earth.

I wonder, however, what the intelligent design (in the evolution context) folks have to say about the existence of billions of other galaxies harboring a nearly infinite number of other stars and planets, some of which almost certainly harbor life. Unless, like the flat Earthers, they claim space is also "fake and ghey," they perhaps ought to wonder why all that extra space is necessary and whether the existence of totally different lifeforms on distant planets has any bearing on the notion that everything was created specifically for us.

Unfortunately, the ultimate question of where this universe came from (and perhaps where other universes also came from) is not likely ever to be answered, and it continues getting more difficult to answer as time passes. The "Universe from Nothing" lecture by Lawrence Krauss (on YouTube) is very interesting, however, in the sense that maybe "nothing" doesn't exist. Then again, why should "something" exist?

So how did the very first organism adapt to the conditions of the earth if it had no time to do so? Was it orginally made in a way that it could survive on earth?

If we take Tigers out of India and release it into Africa how long will it take before the tigers start morphing into a Lions?

All evicence points to DNA being the blueprint of everything that lives. You can’t alter anything without first altering DNA. Black people have moved from Africa to North America and Europe and to this day we have not seen the slightest change in DNA among them. So when should black people start morphing into another race? Shouldn’t their skin start turning white and their hair will loosen up soon?

Ecosystems are perfectly designed to sustain life, have you never learned about how each animal serves a role? Without even knowing it, every animal is acting in harmony with this system of life we have on earth, and you’re claiming this all started randomly.

So yes? A blliom puzzle pieces got thrown onto the floor and they all landed perfectly in order for life to be sustained on earth? That is your position?

Let me know when the Polar Bears turn into seals due to all the ice melting. When will this process start?? Or will they turn into Brown Bears?

You do realize that species have frequently just died off when conditions no longer could sustain them? They don't just start "morphing." LOL.

Again, evolution and abiogenesis are distinct concepts. Evolution does not concern itself with where the very first lifeform on Earth came from. For the first billion or so years of its existence, Earth was a fiery hellscape full of toxic gases where nothing lived. Earth eventually calmed down to the point where the right sort of organic compounds formed in the oceans. It is possible that icy meteorites/asteroids could have deposited necessary ingredients here. It should not surprise us that nothing developed here when it couldn't but did develop here when it could. It couldn't be any other way.

Ecosystems develop over time and achieve a natural balance until something upsets that balance. You can watch it happen. Many times in Earth's history, entire ecosystems have been wiped out and later redeveloped. Several times in Earth's history, virtually all ecosystems on Earth were wiped out, but plainly they later redeveloped.

Not sure who is dumber. Jesus freaks or flat earthers. Probably Jesus freaks because at least the flat earthers were working from some ancient observations instead of just pure fantasy.

Life didn't all spring into existence at the same time to fill some ecological niche.

Life began in a primordial soup on a nightmare lava rock, and as it cooled and water was able to pool on the surface, life eventually evolved to take advantage of its environment. And kept doing so for millions and millions of years as the earth heated and cooled. It's possible life as we know it was seeded from some sort of extra terrestrial, but if so it didn't look human and it probably wasn't on purpose.

You call other people crazy but think everything on our planet was caused by some primordial soup?

And it just “evolved” to take advantage of the environment. Why did it start evolving? By what law or logic?
