I've always wondered this
The chit that would get me is the water training, intentionally getting drowned etc, being in the cold, intentionally getting hypothermia, no sleep on hell week for 5 days?
Most everything else I know I could do
Chances of injury from overuse are high too
I honestly dunno so I'd say probably not at my age now, maybe when I was 10 years younger

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

As for me, nah, I'm average at absolutely everything. I could maybe do nightstalker support, but even then, that's a big ass maybe.

Of course any man would like to believe they could.
I have been friends with many people in the special operations forces community in the Air Force and Army, however never Navy SEALS.
A Combat Controller buddy of mine told me I could easily make it through their pipeline. We met in boot camp and I helped him really push himself there. Later on, after he completed the pipeline, he said the small chit I did in boot camp for him helped him greatly, and I would have easily made it, and helped others make it as well.
After going to flight school, I met a few warrant officers in the 160th. They told me I wouldn’t have a problem getting in there.
I haven’t really been tested enough to say with confidence. SERE was mentally and emotionally stressful but doable for sure.
I am nothing special at all. In my current state of existence I absolutely could not. I am not healthy mentally or physically. I would be a liability.
Once upon a time, it seems I could have.

The chances of making it are incredibly small.
That said, I think I might have had at best a 5% chance back when I was out of high school and early college. I played a lot of sports and was already borderline brainwashed to not know how to quit when it came to physical training. Our coaches would run us until we threw up. Guys would chit themselves during long distance PT. I remember getting tunnel vision and almost blacking out pretty regularly during conditioning. Lots of guys got major injuries from being pushed to their limits.
Not sure how much of that that would translate to making SEALs, but I look at my mindset then compared to now and it really did seem like I was brainwashed into not quitting. If I carried that mindset back then into training I might have at least a small shot at making it.

Well I'm 42 years old. So definitely not now, but I feel like I might have been a good candidate at the right age (22-25). The problem is my tolerance for cold water went away right around that age. I don't know why, but I have the hardest time adjusting to my skin hitting cold water now. So phuck that. Otherwise I think mentally and physically I might've been able to do it.

There's some truth to that statement.
One has to have the perseverance, mental focus and not doubt the self.
Me....with respect to the thread title?
I don't know.

I actually think OP would have been a Navy SEAL had he not spent the last decade LARPing as a woman on a gay Indian bodybuilding forum.
He has the discipline necessary, but it's a shame he focused that discipline towards an endeavor that doesn't yield any appreciable returns.

You also talk about how you're such a good man and morally superior to the rest of us so how come you're never good for your word and never do what you say you'll do? You always insist that you look like you lift and said you would post pictures in June and it's December now. Another JFL is your claim of 3 pullups which would be trivial for anyone else but doubtful for you given how fat you are, that would be the easiest claim in the world to prove but you haven't even done that.
The main point I wanted to make is you talking about heart. Getting bodybuilding show level shredded is hard. But simply not being morbidly obese is easy AF, just don't eat so much. But you don't even have the discipline for that. And you talk about heart, JFL.

Just today I had a gentleman approached me asking me how did I get my arms so big and how much do I work out, and I was wearing a hoodie to boot. I'm bigger than you, and while I may not be leaner, that's not saying much considering you're 160lbs and have 18" shoulders.
I am not gonna post nudes for you.

Back in my hayday, I'm not sure. I'd say physically I probably could handle most of it. Not the best at any one thing, but solid middle of the pack on most/all. But the mental aspect? I'm not sure I would've had to drive to mentally power through. And just me saying that... if I'm not sure I have it, I don't have it.
