LOL I remember speaking to my aunt about it and she didn't understand.

She said I remember they said the same stuff when I was young, we got through it.

She couldn't comprehend how we have been inching towards a critical mass since then.

I don't know what will happen but I expect some crazy stuff to pop-off at some point in my lifetime.

I think one of the reasons why it is so difficult to determine the prognosis is that the world is in a state that it has NEVER BEEN IN during its entire history.

Completely connected in all sectors of politics, finance, social fabrics, etc, and there's no way to hide what should be hidden, or to escape what needs to be run away from, and no way to change what the few consolidated powers wish to unfold.

There is no corollary in our existence to draw experience from. We now have AI as an imminent, completely unpredictable variable in all of this as well. How will we know when AI starts making completely fabricated reports on TV or the internet that change the course of humanity? Would we even know it's happening? It is an extremely unsettling scenario.

Civilization is truly heading into the unknown. That statement is not dramatic or hyperbolic. It is the most accurate assessment of the current parameters.
