Looking forward to deflation in 2024, which is when the Fed will lower rates. It's anybody's guess when exactly they'll cut rates. Could be as early as spring if the signs add up, but probably a little bit later. Fear of deflation is why the Fed lowered the already low rates in 2019 - deflation was on the horizon.

Regarding employment....we had a huge amount of retirementadding onto the already high expectedamount of Boomer retirement, which created a lot of openings.

"More than three-and-a-half years after Covid struck, the US still has around 2 million more retirees than predicted, in one of the most striking and enduring changes to the nation's labor force."

So Joe's to blame for the $8T in debt that Trump left and the $2.8T he spent on Covid, flooding the economy with money? And somehow Joe doubled inflation in less than 3 months and doubled it again 3 months later?

Take an economics class and get back to us boyo. Inflation, as most non retards know, is a lagging indicator, like most country impacting economic factors.

Dumb dumb.

Yes, the Trump administration's inflationary policies definitely left a steep toll on the country, but Biden is doing a good job cleaning up the mess thus far with minimal collateral damage. Feels good not having a narcissist lunatic in office.

So disingenuous that people lie about it. Yet they claim that jobs that came back on Biden's watch don't count but inflation that happened on Biden's watch due to Trump's horrible monetary decisions is all Biden's fault.

Just a reminder that Trump cried so much about the Fed raising rates from zero during his "best economy ever" that the Fed lowered rates in 2019.

How about all those covid stimulus checks with his stupid name on them?

True. The OP says job growth occurred in health care and government. So what does that mean? More spending on vaccines, IRS agents, and people to process fake asylum claims from a border crisis Biden created? Yay!!

US exports of natural gas and petroleum to Europe are now at record highs. Natural gas especially. How fortunate for US energy companies that *somebody blew up the Nordstream pipeline and US policy aims now are to halve Russia's energy exports by 2030. It's a good thing for the Europeans that oil demand in the US is weak after 13 months in a row of declining manufacturing and frackers have gotten more efficient. We don't need it, they can have it. OPEC+ cutting supply is counterbalanced by weak demand. I'll take it. Let the deflation commence!!

Now if only food prices would come down. Wishful thinking, I know.

Dumb dumb.
Speaking of aren't we on track to spend $3T more than we have in 2023?

The national debt increased by nearly 40 times under Abraham Lincoln from 1861 to 1865—the largest multiple of increase in U.S. history.
5
Of those who were president in either the 20th or 21st century, Franklin D. Roosevelt contributed to the largest percent increase in national debt. Recent presidents Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and George W. Bush presided over the three largest increases in terms of dollar amounts. Current PresidentJoe Biden is on pace to join or surpass them.

Yes and it's a huge problem. But it's not the reason we had to overcome massive inflation. Trump's massive increase to the debt, zero Fed rates, and supply chains crippled by covid did. Biden didn't cry when the Fed increased rates so now inflation is back to manageable levels with wage growth outpacing it bigly.

We are now in a position where the economy can handle some negative stimulus like lower government spending. Inflation is in check, everyone who wants has a job, GDP growth that crushes anything Trump ever achieved, and record domestic energy production.

Thanks Joe!

Right. Trump's spending with 0% interest rates for 4 years caused inflation, but Obama's spending with 0% interest rates for 8 years didn't. Makes sense

You're a cultist so I wouldn't really expect you to understand but I'll try. What do you think is more likely to cause inflation, spending $10T over 8 years or $8T over 4 years? Think hard boyo...

Also remember all those supply chains that Trump let get phuked up in 2020. You think that had any impact on inflation or nah?

1)According to the IMF the inflation rate/average consumer price is 6.9% worldwide but only 4.1% in America or 40% lower than the rest of the world...

https://www.imf.org/external/datamap...O/WEOWORLD/VEN

This isn't a 'Biden' problem it's a worldwide problem and under Biden, America is doing better than half the world.

2)Before Trump was elected America was in the middle of a record 131 consecutive months of positive GDP growth and a record 113 months of positive job growth.

Both started in 2010...Obama's first full budget year!!!

Trump inherited a booming economy, a booming job market, and a federal budget deficit cut by 2/3rds from Obama.

Trump destroyed all that and added $8 Trillion to the national debt by giving himself and millionaires/billionaires $Trillions in tax cuts. Don't worry...that money will 'Tinkle Down' on you poor trailer park trash.

How about you aware me how Biden is responsible for inflation that double less than 3 months into his term? Does he have magic inflation causing ability or something? Not a dime of any spending bill he signed had been spent yet.

Gee it's almost like democrat governors were shutting down their states and that Biden didn't do anything to help the economy, only making things worse.

Lol @ you clowns trying to pretend like everything is great while all I hear is average people complaining about how bad things are.

Who was president when the states were shut down? You still haven't explained how Biden caused inflation to double in less than 3 months.

And of course average people are complaining. Average people are stupid. They blame Biden for inflation when it's the most retarded thought ever. They think the bigly wage increases they've received since Biden took office were all due to their hard work. Normal people are dumb AF. Don't get me started on cultist, the dumbest of the dumb.

Also remember all those supply chains that Trump let get phuked up in 2020. You think that had any impact on inflation or nah?

SMH
Bush spent less than 6 trillion in 8 years, almost none of which interest rates were at 0%. Most years under Bush: 1-5% interest rates. Increased national debt by 100%, no inflation

Obama spent 10 trillion in 8 years, all of which had 0% interest rates. Increased national debt by 90%, no inflation

Trump spent 8 trillion in 4 years, two years of which had interest rates of 1-2%. Increased national debt by 35%, no inflation

Hmm. Your logic isn't adding up boyo. Sounds like major COPE to explain why inflation SKYROCKETED the moment Biden unnecessarily 'stimulated' the economy
