Sticks out on tour head the most when you opened it?
For me it is probably a tie between Megatron G-1 transformer and the Sega genesis in Xmas 91

I always had pretty legit Christmas’ so I can’t remember a gift I always wanted however I do remember the best gift.
My dad brought me home Christmas Eve and my mom opened the door and here came a golden retriever puppy bounding down the hallway with a red bow around her neck. Pretty much a Christmas movie in real life.
I’d love to do something similar for my son when he’s old enough.

Atari 2600 and it’s not even close.
I opened it and was literally speechless. I’ll never forget that feeling.

I got a technodrone from TMNT. Probably the snes game Chrono Trigger sticks out pretty hard. Played that game for YEARS.
Edit: haha, when the misc talks about wearing gloves in the gym I always think back when my parents got me a pair of fingerless gloves for christmas back in highschool, I got the biggest fukin blisters using those

one thing that sticks out is sega cd, although in retrospect it really wasnt that great of a video game system. but having that and a 32x on my genesis was pretty cool at the time.
i later traded in sega and snes for an N64. wish id kept the retro systems though, those systems are fond memories

I remember when I was a kid I always wanted to get the Sega Genesis. But my dad (who was clueless about game systems) got me a Sega Game Gear. At first, I was upset but I soon grew to love my Game Gear.

Did you ever get to play it with The ram expansion pack? For rogue and turok 2 it really boosted up the graphics. Especially on rogue squadren..

In 2006 my mom got me a new Xbox 360 for Christmas, but the rule was I could only play it at her house and that’s where it would stay (I lived with my dad 46 weeks out of the year). I later learned this was because it was really my step-dad’s 360 and they just let me unwrap it on Christmas lmao srs.

My mother's pos husband bought his son a nes and he would not let him take it home he said for the same reason you just mentioned but the truth was my mom enjoyed playing it too so he wouldn't le his own son take it home and he only seen his son 2 times a year.
He was a true pos. In every way
