What click did you actually belong to in high school, and what click would you prefer to have belonged to, if you could go back and do high school over?

I don't think I was in a clique. There were about 5-10 of us rockers, but I wouldn't call us a clique. The rest of the school seemed to be preppy deadheads. lol I was friendly with most everyone even if I didn't agree with their crap musical choices.

I was in the metalheadclique(proper spelling btw)

I wouldn't say I wished I belonged to a different clique, but there were definitely a lot of guys in high school who were outside of my clique, that all my metalhead buddies would talk **** about, who I thought were actually chill dudes and would hang with. I got **** for it from them for it, obviously. By the end of high school my metalhead friends turned into gay retard posers, srs. Most of them took up an interest in emo music a la My Chemical Romance and Hawthorne Heights because it was popular and they wanted to be popular.

my high school was very segregated, naturally. whites stayed with whites, blacks with blacks, browns with browns and asians with asians.

Back in the sady in Socal there was a group called Locals.

It was not really a clique with a bunch of guys in it but more of a one off type thing. Took me a lot of work and watching other locals and emulating them to become one.

There were big advantages to being one as you attracted a lot of females which of course was the reason I wanted to be one and worked so hard at it.

Basically, the locals didnt really excel at anything other than being a local. None of us were particularly good in class or sports of anything like that because we spent out time truing to be locals and getting laid.

I guess it was sort of a guy who goes to school but doesnt really do much of anything other than use it as a social club. Most of us had jobs, I had a full time one when I was a senior so I guess in a way we were more grown up in a way or at least acted like it to some degree.

I took extra credit classes after school the entire time I was there so by my senior year I only had one class per semester that was mandatory. They wouldnt let me graduate early so I had one class each semester which I basically just attended and talked to girls in.

Not too much call for being a local since then but it was a fun thing to do. Not many people have even really heard of it but those who went to school when i did know right away what it is.

Needless to say ,I dove head first into drugs

My hs honestly didn't have cliques. Football team hung out with band kids. There wasn't really any clout for being a cheerleader. There were a couple "hot" girls but they had friends all across spectrum. Our team qb who was highly recruited was socially awkward. Wearing a letterman jacket was passe.

Really only clique was kids in honors/ap classes(those on the path to decent universities) and the the kids screwing off/not prepping for college. But I had friends in every group

Most kids were just trying to get into good schools and helped each other/respectful to those around them.

Honestly can't relate to any Hollywood depiction of HS. Kids were super chill and nice (no bullies...no mean girls..no cliques)

I don't remember bullies or mean girls either. I'm sure there must have been some but I didn't come across them or have any bad experiences with them.

Mine was similar, although I couldn't tell you the percentage of whites/blacks/asians/hispanics. Prob at least 75-80% white. It was the best public high school out of the 3 in the area.

I hung out with the people in band, but I wasn’t in band.

I wanted to be cool pretty badly, but no one really picked on me or anything, so it wasn’t all bad.

I made friends. The world was a different place it seems like. Easier to make friends.

I didn’t have a gf or anything, but dated a few times.

I sorta disliked the popular kids at the same time. I didn’t want to be one of them in the same way that they were cool, I wanted to be cool in my own way.

Was a twink.

I didn't belong to any clique. I was in the honors program with mostly Asian students so I enjoyed watching anime with them, attending LAN parties, and stuff like that. But I was basically a dweeb.
