Appreciate you guys, as always on spread.

I went ahead and picked up Cooks, still unsure who I'll start between him and Kincaid but have a few more days to think about it.

despite me endorsing kincaid, you may want to see if dawson knox is playing. he's back soon. if he comes back it may cut into Kincaid's looks.

Have the 2nd highest points in my league but fighting for the final playoff spot. If I win I'm in, if I lose it depends who elese wins and how many points they score.

Just lost Christian Kirk. I have Jordan Addison, but havent really trusted him since Cousins went down and now JJ expected back. I have a claim in for Brandin Cooks, I already have CeeDee. Do I play 2 Cowboys WRs against Philly or give Addison a shot?

I wouldn't hesitate to use the two Cowboys receivers if that's your best option. The Eagles have given up the 4th most pass yard and the 2nd most pass TDs in the league this year. Slay and Bradberry have fallen off a cliff and their defense has been a sieve this year (and it's been getting worse over the course of the season). Ceedee is obviously the most locked in must-start receiver in the league not named Tyreek, but in the last 4 games, Cooks has averaged 6 catches for 80 yards and has 3 TDs. He's also been a borderline WR1 over that stretch.

Last week of the season and find myself in 5th place in spite of being the highest league scorer by 100 points. Win and I’m in for sure, but if I lose and 6th and 7th (playing 1 and 3 respectively) both win I get bounced.

I could be the first FF player ever to lead his league in scoring and not make the post season. Talk about bad luck

you can do your homework, nail your draft, make moves here and there but at the end of the day it's all gambling. sometimes it comes down to luck and timing. especially in head-to-head season long leagues. but that's part of what makes all of it so fun.

Yea, I'm definitely leaning towards the 2 Cowboys. My hesitation is kind of about mitigating risk if Cowboys end up with a bad game script for passing or Dak goes down.

For sure. Usually only watch my own games but I’ll be glued to the whole league this week. Honestly bummed it will be over soon.

I’ve been looking into DFS for when my season ends, but everything I read is saying it’s rigged/sheisty. Anyone here partake? The idea of it sounds cool

It's not rigged per se, but there are people who will throw like every possible stack into a tourney... so it is advantageos to have a big bankroll to be able to put in all those entries

Pierce got more touches last week of the Houston guys, but yeah terrible matchup. Pacheco might not go, is McKinnon available in your league? This is about the time of year he starts to cook and that game should have a lot of points.

I drafted Watson in the first round of a dynasty rookie draft last year. Was bummed when he dropped a wide open 75 yard TD on the first play of the season then was promptly benched for 8 weeks. Was excited when he came back and scored like 12 TDs in 5 weeks. Was bummed he blew a hammy before the season started then ran like he was trapped in quicksand until November. Was excited when he started to pick it up again the last couple weeks. Now bummed again he can't stay healthy. Dude is like a fukking roller coaster. Do not recommend.

regarding this comment, i'm starting Kittle at TE and flexing Laporta. would you keep as is, or flex Brandin Cooks into the flex?

I don’t have any of these guys on either of my team so I’m not all that hip to their stats, but I’d be leaning LaPortaCooks honestly. I think that’s better for ceiling and floor, kittle is competing with a lot of guys for touches and could very well blow out Seattle so game script could be your enemy

I agree with this. To me, LaPorta > Kittle, and unless you're in a TEP league, I'd go with Cooks.

Really hope knox being elevated from IR doesn’t impact Kincaid’s production. There isn’t anyone out there worth filling in so rolling with DK, but a bit concerned

i have two teams and both are locked into the playoffs. this week it's just a matter of spoiler for me. and can i just tell you how annoyed i still am that the pittsburgh defense at home gave up 3 touchdowns to "bailey zappe" in the first half. thanks tomlin

sorry i missed this. i genuinely would've said Isaiah and he had a good day. hope you picked him.

speaking of TE i sat njoku and he went nuts. that'll hurt. i'm still in the playoffs but it changes the seeding. now, next week, he'll put up 4 points and dallas G will score on my bench.

On my main team in the league I want to win most, I've had Justin Herbert each of the last two years. And it feels like he just had the same season as last (worse, i guess)

1. looks like a million dollars early on, offense humming, Mike Williams making plays, Keenan's still got it despite getting old
2. Mike Will gets hurt, as is tradition
3. Justin gets hurt but plays through it, underwhelming at times yet you can't complain much because he's playing through it
4. the whole thing wears out, injuries pile up, we'll get'm next year

I also have to say Kellen Moore didn't do a damn thing for this offense. Maybe he gets overstepped by that loser head coach they have but this was the same deal as last year IMO. I do feel for Herbert because he's a mega talent and plays injured a lot but then again, he just committed to this franchise long term, he kept himself in this.

in terms of fantasy football, when everything's right JH is a top 3 QB. Unfortunately "everything right" only lasts half the season it seems.

What week do most FF leagues run through? The league I am in, there is no weekly head-to-head or playoffs. It is all total points on the season, but I am just wondering if most leagues like this only run through 15 or 16 games (so Week 16 or 17) because there is potential for teams to have playoff seeding wrapped up and starters benched.

Every league I'm in ends 1 week before the actual NFL season end. With week 18 being the last NFL week, week 17 is the last fantasy football week.

They really fked up by not taking Flowers or Addison. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him regardless of any coaching changes next year with his weapons all another year older and no guarantee QJ ever works out.

I think I'm back to punting QB anyways. Hurts and Allen are the only early ones that were worth their cost. Better off to just grab 2 late and hope one has a Dak type season or just use them to play matchups.

it truly seems like they only took Q because his build (6'4, 200+ lbs) is closer to big Mike Williams. This way he can fill the role if MW gets hurt. sure enough MW got hurt for the season, and johnston fell right on his face. meanwhile, agreed, flowers (who is small) and Addison (also kinda small) are looking like great players.

ironically they already had a guy in Josh Palmer who does fine whenever Williams misses games. Although he got hurt too

I hate Fantasy, been averaging around 120+ points. Finished 2nd in the regular season. Playoffs started this week and I got 58 points.

Come Aug I'll be excited about fantasy again but for now it can fook right off.

Kellen Moore looks like he actually kind of sucks as an OC. Dallas is way better without him and the Chargers suck with him. Not a fan.

wellp. i slipped and wound up in third place in one league, so i missed the bye. sure enough the guy i'm facing had the raider defense. that's probably the end.

Lucked out starting the Raiders in one league since every option I did want was sniped or rostered already. Makes me feel really good about the Bills and Broncos defenses I had already stashed in my leagues for the upcoming Patriots matchups since they each also play the Chargers.
