So out of all the games released in2023 (yes you can count cyberpunk since i cant leave out relentless)

The original was my top 1 game of all time and everyone on misc knows it, so I’m telling the truth. So many play throughs. And I don’t just mean the original, but crazy play thru of the remake! BG3 is just amazing for old school, choose your own adventure RPG lovers. There are so many clever ways to approach combat and quests that it really does feel like you're playing a DnD campaign with the greatest DM of all time.

I cant believe how much CP2077 turned itself around, but I'm very happy it happened. I had it on release on PS4, so I was at ground zero for the worst experience.

Totk addressed most of my issues with Botw. I enjoyed Botw, but it sometimes felt empty, and the weapon durability was a pain sometimes. Totk put more meat into the world with more layers, Ultrahand is just pure fun, and with how you use item drops, weapon durability is not an issue even a little bit.

I'm not too passionate about specifying my GOTY, but I gotta say my boy Clive was fuking ROBBED for not winning best voice actor in any of the big awards. Dude fuking killed it.

My personal GOTY was surprisingly FFXVI. It was my first FF game and I hate RPG's but I'm glad I pulled the tigger on it. Spider-Man 2 & RE 4 are close runner-ups.

The dude who won over Ben Starr isn't even the best performer in BG3. Definitely an odd choice for that award.
