Is quitting work to travel overrated?

Its what I see nonstop on instagram, people going to all these exotic places and saying they found themselves (whatever that means).

If you have enough money saved up is it really worth just traveling for 6-12 months and exploring the world, or are you better off doing it in two week increments while keeping your job?

I could survive for years without a job but it feels like after a few weeks I would want to go home. I went to Europe solo for 3 weeks prepandemic and by the end of it I was looking forward to coming back.

where do we get the financing from?

i mean yeah spend $$$10k traveling then come back and realise everyone else is $$$10k+ what ever they earned better off than your chit tier memories

its a double negative

girls and alcohol are the same everywhere

I went on vacation with my girlfriends to europe, got bottomed out by euro chads for a couple weeks and that was enough for me! Went back to my boyfriend after!

I dont mean traveling to bang women..

I'm talking about seeing the wonders of the world, exotic nature destinations, etc
