I'd say the prices for your PC parts is far more predatory than 70 a year for FIFA multi-player. It's the same thing if you play a PC game, instead of paying upfront the money goes towards your subscription fees. PC and mobile get milked the most in the industry. PC pirates the most and has the most cheaters by far.

There's a reason all the excitement is on consoles for new releases these days. It's more affordable to the masses, easy to access and easier to play your games. Console gamers are simply getting more out of their platform for far less cost. Everything you said is true, consoles are more popular. Which means more consumers. Which also means more dumb consumers, buying chit products repeatedly, every year. Enabling more chit products to be put into production. The exact cycle I'm talking about is because of how popular consoles are and how ill informed or simply uncaring the average console consumer is. That is my entire point. Fifa, Cod, NBA, NHL, these games are terrible now because of this exact cycle and the overwhelming popularity of consoles. Gotta agree with Freeburn on this one. Got fleeced for all the repurchasing for GTAV, never again. Rockstar is a great game developer but they are predatory on the consumer with their pricing models. If it releases at 30fps on consoles I'll be waiting on the PC version. Hopefully there's a performance mode at 60fps but given Rockstars past, I ain't holding my breath.

Yeah I mean they even call it the Rockstar double dip. V came out what, almost 2 years later on PC after the initial release? RDR 2 a year after the console release. And iirc it was a mess.
