Ritzy Colorado ski resort Carbondale is inundated with illegal Venezuelan migrants

Venezuelan migrants are flooding to a posh Colorado ski resort town with no homeless shelter after hearing rumors that there are plenty of jobs to be offered.

Major U.S. cities are seeing huge influxes of migrant arrivals and Denver - with 2,600 migrants in the city's shelter system and 200 on the streets - isn't the only Colorado hotbed affected by the crisis.

Carbondale is a home rule municipality in Garfield County, Colorado, with a population of around 6,434. The town is a 30-minute drive away from the high-end ski resort town of Aspen - located in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
The cheapest property currently on the market in the small town is $720,000 - with most houses valued at roughly $2 million, according to Zillow.

The situation in Venezuela is pretty fooking crazy though and has been for over a decade now. Gov't takes away guns then proceeds to massacre it's citizens. With that said I used to meet some Venezuelan refugees in Utah that were hot af.

not only that. where I live a landlord can rent a 2br to a couple of white girls for 1500 or 6-8 migrants who will pay 500 each.


morevover, white girls will complain about a leaky faucet. migrants will not only likely live with it but fix it. and they simply can't complain...as they know their housing options are limited..LL also knows this so he doesn't bother to fix anything and then the whole complex gets worse but landlord makes double the revenue.

Legal in Colorado for anyone to register and insure their car in Colorado. A lot do. Problem is that then when they get in a crash, their cheap insurance company refuses to pay because the driver was an unlicensed driver.

What should they do? Anyone that opposes the regime gets killed. They have no weapons to fight back. I'm amazed the USA is allowing refugees to come since diplomatic ties were severed when the current regime took power.

It's crazy that country is still so chitty considering they have the most recoverable crude oil of any country in the world, not including shale oil and oil shale of course.
