BRB I heard this new drug is great also for kidney health and is safe and effective according to experts.

Ozempic is just a thing because people are too undisciplined to be healthy, and are always looking for a quick fix while throwing money at big pharma.

And rn it’s too expensive to realistically be used by a large portion of the population. Also there is speculation that if insurance covers it, many more ppl will take it. Costs like 1k monthly iirc
Yep, like Bariatric surgery which this mimics the effects of, it is meant for the most hardcore of morbidly obese people with diabetes or type 1 that cannot be controlled-but for financial reasons for the company that makes it, will eventually be distributed to porkies who just need to lose a few stone.

I mean the Covid jab that should have took a decade plus to make & that was never bought to market despite decades of trying, was really only 'needed' by a small amount of people-but that doesn't interest the companies that made it-so it got injected into three quarters of the world population.

Soon as the lawsuits hit it will fall from favor.

Just a matter of time before some celebs start keeling over with damaged livers or whatever because of it.

Think about the bodily systems that crap works on. There is no way that could be good for you in any way. you would be way better off fat.

Ozempic doesn’t eliminate the need for people to eat. It just makes them less hungry so it’s easier for them to control their urges. Also, I didn’t say it’s terrible, I said it’s popular because people are undisciplined and always looking for a quick fix for their problem.

LOL @ OP, as if this was the first drug for lazy stupid ****s. Last one I recall, caused you to **** yourself all day when you couldn't absorb fats (which are essential for human function).

Like that, this will hit, fatties will use it and maintain unhealthy lives, at some point get hit with side effects and other problems, the product ends up getting pulled and fatbodies end up regaining all the weight and have some chronic new issue(s) to deal with.

Maybe heart attacks, those are all the vogue these days.

Does it improve it, or are fatties just putting less in their fat gullets, so there is less insulin due to less consumption? I am guessing it's the later, in which case, it's not lowering anything that wouldn't have dropped from simply eating less anyway.

Imagine being so lazy, disliking your own body and health so much that you have to take pills to force you to not be a glutton?

People think the only goal of weight loss is the actual losing of the weight. What’s just as valuable is the habits one builds to get there. The discipline, basic nutrition you learn, healthy habits you build such as exercise, water intake, which calories are worth it depending on the day and activities.

Ex fattys who work their way down the right way likely end up more successful overall in life because of the positive feedback loop that accompanies the journey. This is just a guess though, and I can’t be bothered to search if such studies have been conducted.

But it’s not a miracle drug as you also have to diet on it. You can just eat fast food all day on Ozempic and lose weight. It just reduces your appetite and cravings but the cravings were still there at the Christmas parties with cookies!

Ozempic didn’t stop those. Hence I’ve got to get back on track today as I feel like chit.

Combo of both. I experimented with it in the spring. I had it prescribed by my clinic. I had to be sure to consume carbs pre-workout or I'd get low blood sugar symptoms during my workout. I wasn't a fan of it and only took small dosages. I much rather use the EC stack with yohimbine as a diet aid to suppress my appetite. It helps when cutting to get lean, but not enough I noticed that is worth dealing with low blood sugar and constipation. It in itself doesn't cause weight loss, its primary benefit is appetite suppression. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

I don't know anything about other than a low effort internet search.

But is this the new covid approach for people to take a jab that may lead to them dieing sooner than later?

Hey you fat people (most westerners), just take this pill(?) to get in shape. It'll work in 2 weeks

I didn't get the jab and even if I was fat and out of shape, will not be taking this pill(?).

Lose the weight. Hop off Ozempic. Lift. Profit.

In theory Ozempic should teach you healthy eating habits.

I don’t think so. Who’s craving protein when you have no appetite. I don’t think people actually are eating enough protein while taking the drug. Even without the drug, folks are barely eating enough protein.

I take 5 anxiety meds which cause weight gain that I’m tapering off of, so it will take years before I’m free of anxiety meds as they have terrible withdrawals.

They put me on Ozempic because I was just yo-yo-ing with weight loss.

It’s not a miracle drug and I only lose weight on the 2mg dose, which is always out of stock. Everyone is using it so unfortunately the diabetics who need it can’t get it.
