Ded fkn srs story

This week I was on the train heading home from work in evening and for some reason started really thinking deeply about my dad, things I regret about our relationship, how he treated me. basically did a really strong deep dive reflection about our father son relationship (how he didnt play with me much as a kid etc).

I honestly very rarely think about these things. He was an ok father for the most part. I don't harbor any bad feelings so its not like Im always thinking about this.

Anyways, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Like I was doing this chronological play in my head of our relationship from first memories to now.

Well middle of the night, next day my mom texts me and lets me know the previous evening he was experiencing major stomach pain and went to the ER. They found some growth on his pancreas and feared cancer.

Currently he is ok and the cancer is inconclusive for now at least pending longer term testing, but Im a little shook about this all. I literally NEVER think this deeply about our father son relationship (Srs) and just happens to be the night hes in the ER for feared pancreas cancer?

yeah I think its all good for now. they are doing some more testing but hes been recovering and feeling better

Feels so weird when that kind of thing happens.

Wife found out she was pregnant and like the next day a friend she hadn't spoken to in a long time texted out of the blue like, "This might be crazy but I just had this thought of you being pregnant."

I'll never believe the physical is all there is to our existence.

There's so much beyond even our understanding about life. This is one of those things. Our connections run way deeper than people think. Twins have shown this the most obviously.

Well seems like he's holding up well right now. Hope it isn't anything serious beyond just this acute issue. Always a but unnerving as the parent age and you start seeing them lose their health a bit

not anything close to ur experience but in 2017, my laptop had crapped out and so i went to bestbuy & got a new MBPR touchbar. well on the way home a girl who i used to date started texting me & said she had a dream i bought a computer.

nah she didnt work there. she works in pharmaceuticals as a statistician. im positive didnt have anything to do w/it. this was also a girl that had she not been a wee bit on the massive side, we legit would have gotten hitched. there's never gonna be another chick like her, there cant be srs so there has to be some connection between people that goes beyond the physical dink.

Yeah man we are all connected through god or whatever you want to call it.

Always feel weird telling people I’ll say a prayer for them and their family in these situations incase they take it negatively. But I did it anyways. Praying for the best.
