Anyone else prepping for the inevitable collapse of society?

This WILL happen in our lifetime. In the next 10 years, or sooner. I'm not sure how many people are able to read what is going on in this world, but basically the simplest explanation i can say, is that the internet is the worst thing to happen to this world. Technology and the 24/7 "information" will be our downfall.

Lol at internet being the worst thing. It will certainly hasten the collapse, but it isn't the reason for it.

That is definitely a good thing to do. Now is the best time to prepare because later on would not be because it would be too late to be prepared than it is now.

I predict the collapse will be around 2050 when places like Miami are underwater and there are nonstop hurricanes, heat waves and fires.

When my house was built 50 years ago my original owner neighbors said there was no need for air conditioning. Now it’s miserable in the summer without AC.

Ted Kaczynsk, the Unabomber, was right and ahead of his time. To bad he chose the domestic terrorist route to make his point and not peacefully platform his ideas. If you haven't read his manifesto you should.

But yeah I'm prepared. Have wilderness experience, hunting experience, a lifetime of water filters, and lots of ammo. My coworkers and I have talked about it and would make a community compound if needed.

Lol. I don't think you know what a collapse means. You think the powerplant workers will keep going to work if a dollar becomes paper with no value? No electricity you think you can buy food at the grocery store? How are people going to act when the supply chain stops and can't get food?

I've never heard a gun go off in California, I've never touched a gun, I'm an animal person so I'll never hunt, so I guess I'm screwed unless i go up in the mountains and live off of plants and make a farm, or go to an island.

I will learn to shoot a gun if the US was invaded by another country. I wound't go up against other US citizens like in the Civil War, though. I doubt there will ever be another Civil War.

I can't see the US be invaded, but then again, I never thought I'd see 9/11.
