Anyone else disguisted they are forced to go to planet fitness..because

Either

1. It's the only place close you

Or

2. All.you can afford at the moment.

I'm going to be forced to go to planet fitness here soon. Gotten as far with floor work and body resistance as I can get.

Time to get back to the free weights. I wonder if they still pass out cookies and pizza to people?

Planet is awesome. Srs. Hella cheap, mine is super clean, empty most of the time. The only people who go there are Johnnydeep wet dreams and 4/10s aspiring to become butterfaces.

I have a 24 hour fitness membership too and I never go because PF is so good.

You what? I went to one briefly, when gyms first re-opened during Covid, and yeah...the weights area was usually always pretty empty/open, so that was a perk. Practically never an issue with people using stuff you wanted to use. Also, while it's not AS bad as a lot of MISCers might make it out to be - I certainly wouldn't say that it's "so good".

Since I've never belonged to one.my only criticism at this point is the cookie business and the fact they ban you for letting it out on your last couple reps which at times really is needed

Not sure why they have a problem with that.

Heard alarms go off with you do that or drop a weight. I never was one of those people to drop a weight hard on the floor just to be doing it but it never bothered me with someone else did. So long as it was dropped and not thrown. .

Planet is a perfectly fine gym unless you have power-lifting goals.
The dumbbells go up to 75 lbs. You can get a decent workout there, and it has the hydro beds, and massage chairs.
It's more than worth the price they charge.

I love when people make excuses for why they join PF. A place with no barbells. A place where the leg press is altered, so you can only put 4 45lb plates per side. A place where the dumbells only go up to 75lbs.

The only gym close by? What a crock of ****.

I hate when ppl say they can't afford a fuking gym. Its like $15 a month.

The same idiots who say this can supposedly afford to eat out like 3+ times a week and pay $15 for a McDonalds meal or close to $17 for a chipotle burrito instead of just making their own food and bringing it to work.

Now if you can't DRIVE/get to a gym for whatever reason (poor driver/mental issues/anxiety of driving in difficult areas, no transportation etc.) that's a different issue.

I've never been to a Planet Fitness before, but there was a time when the only two decent gyms under $100/mo in my city were a Planet Fitness and a YMCA, and I wish I would have gone to Planet Fitness.

I’m spoiled at my tennis club gym as it’s way too fancy but it’s expensive so I may have to drop it someday.

I don’t know how I could adjust to Planet Fitness or 24 hour. I was a member of 24 hour 10 years ago sibce my tennis club closes at 10pm and it was smelly and the machines were old. Plus the clientele was lower class.

Only the west has this "body positivity" B.S. Ask people on the streets of india or China if they think that Obese / fat women are beautiful and they would laugh at your face. Everyone knows they are ugly. At least people in third world countries are honest about fatties. "Body positivity" is cope. Obese women are the ugliest women(or people) on planet earth. Again, at least obese men know this, they don't use this "body positivity" B.S. coping mechanism.

Every obese women is with some low class/ghetto black , hispanic or low income/redneck white or with an overweight or obese man in the long run. Desirable men never marry obese freaks. This is because clinically obese and very overweight ppl (not just slightly overweight but VERY) are ugly people.

I also take the thirty pound dumbbell and place them on the 75s sideways hammer then in with a 15 and walaa got a 105 dumbell!
