Lol imagine using "I get to be there when my dog chits and that means I am able to wipe it's butt" as a reasonfordog ownership.

Definitely miss my doggo but don't miss walks in the snow and the rain or picking up poops.

Now in a cat house and have to say it's a lot lower maintenance, but cats just aren't the same type of affection and don't greet you super happy as soon as you walk in the door.

This is probably a true statement but it also takes more time for a cat to develop those feelings and they have a different, less obvious way of showing it. My cat used it's last breaths and drops of energy to take one last look at me and then get it's carcass as far away from my living area as possible.

I grew up on cats. I want a dog I just live too much of a bachelor lifestyle to own one.

Cats are just lazy entitled phucks. They don’t work for anything. They don’t contribute anything to a family household. All they do is consume, scratch up furniture and chit in the house. Which, by the way, litter boxes are the filthiest fuking things. I would never own a cat for that reason alone. I have family members who owned cats and you’d find clumps of liter and tracks all over their carpet. The cat was pissing and chitting in the box, walking all over their waste and tracking it throughout the house. At least dogs have the courtesy and intelligence to do their business outside.

Owning a cat is like having a gigantic rat crawling around your home.

I've got a rescue dog that's like 85% dingo

Great dog except when the retard goes and plays in his pool late at night then runs inside, slips all over the tiles floor, then jumps his wet ass all over me and my sofa

Had 3 cats growing up. All outdoor, do whatever the **** they want cats but well behaved. Fed them at 7am and 5pm, otherwise they just chilled wherever and went about their business. Outside in the sun? Sick. Curling up in a ball on your lap while you're watching TV? Sick. All got hit by cars or bit by snakes at some point, but lived to be 15-18. Otherwise they'd just drag in the very occcasional mouse or bird they hunted from the mango farm behind the house. No litter tray in the house or anything, they knew the go.

Can't stand people that keep theirs inside all the time and coddle them. Their houses smell, their cats stick their asses in webcams during work meetings on Teams, they have to dedicate time to actually taking them outside. Fuk that noise

Florida is the perfect place for a dog. Just fence up the yard out here in the country side and have the little fukers live outside like the beast they are. Ofc have a little shed so they can sleep and shelter. The only real threat is a bear taking them out which is highly unlikely since bears are pussy here in Florida.

While I don't entirely disagree with the OP, it helps to take a little time and train your dog better.

I just have ti open the door and let my dog out. He comes back to door when he's ready. Have a couple acres he can roam, and neighbors with similar properties that don't mind him stopping by, as we let their dog visit us as well.

If I need him to come home, I just open the door and whistle, he'll be there in under a minute, every time.

I don't know how people do it either. Also love dogs and being around them. Had a dog when I was a kid who was basically my best friend growing up from age 6-20. But now that I'm an adult and would have to actually take care of one I can't bring myself to getting one. You gotta take them on walks and pick up their sh*t. They ruin your backyard and to some extent your house. At least a little part of your day every day has to be spent playing with them. God forbid you don't have anyone to watch them if you have to take a trip somewhere. I hate the idea of putting them somewhere they'd be in a cage so you either feel sh*tty for doing that or just don't go places if there's no one to watch them.

Just so much stuff to do.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Dog ownership is cope.

Humans bred these retarded baby wolves to keep their farm animals safe, and then what happened is people with no purpose in life, and no children of their own started looking for purpose and companionship with these retarded creatures, these damaged humans particularly like the blind loyalty of the dog, where the human owner does not have to earn the respect of the dog, but rather gets blind love. To make things worse you have to walk after it, and pick up its poop, and then, of course, the dog dies every few years, everybody cries, and then gets a new dog, not to mention the massive money spending to keep the dog alive.

In particular dogs are a popular substitute for children among people who are afraid to have kids of their own, a dog is basically a retarded baby wolf instead of the smart human baby. An absolutely massive monumental cope.

Notice the look women with small dogs give you when you carry your one year-old beautiful smart son in your arms, while they have to settle for a retarded baby wolf.

Easy to tell who's parents didn't love them enough to get them a dog when they were a kid

I used the Rover app to find a sitter. My pup only costs $20/night to put up and he watches other dogs, so it's a pretty good time for her. I travel a lot and most of time it's not a problem unless the sitter happens to be unavailable.

Mine does destroy the yard a bit. But it's not that much effort to maintain the lawn. Only takes a few additional hours a year. As long as I keep up on the maintenance like I should, and the grass grows solid/thick/tight, it's not a big issue.

Dogs are definitely a ton of work if you're a good dog owner. They're worth it though. My dog was absolutely worth it.

I’ve found that if you put in the work when they are young, training ect, the rest of their life is easy mode. With the exception of sickness and injuries which all pets get.

Not directed at any single person. Just a generalization of the thread. There’s pros and cons for either pet type.
I’m down to my last pupper now. When he’s gone, we’re taking a break to travelmax. Then see if we enjoy more than having puppers.
