Too bad it was the only boss fight that played it but Airbuster is the best choice cause in the OG thats when you heard it first throught the rest of the game

What was nostalgic about the stadium? It wasnt in the OG. You mean Hellhouse? i still hate that fuker. Took like an hour on hard. I think we are gonna get hit hard with the feels when Rebirth comes out. Gonna get mine on preorder. Only game ive ever preordered.

FFXVI was my first FF game and surprisingly my GOTY in a year of great games. I don't really like RPG's normally, but Rebirth looks incredible and I'm very hyped for this.

Luckily i thing FF7 Remasted comes with Rebirth. No point in playing Rebirth without playing Remake first. Remake is free on ps+Extra and was a free game on ps+ Essential last year

Playing through remake into final time in hard for the last 2 side quests. I’m early in. Chapter 6. No deaths until chapter 5 with the spooky black spirits waves being harder to fend off than I remembered. I got a few dresses left to unlock too. Many of the cutscenes I actually enjoy rewatching. They are epic, and like LoTR there’s always some dialogue I don’t remember and missed.

edit: oops thought you said FF7 was first game. FF16? wasnt that online

If you never played the OG as a kid its just not the same. Rebirth will be out in a couple months. Nows a good time to play Remake. Coarse there is nothing wrong with playing the OG either. Also FF11 and FF14 was online and appently FF14 is kicking harder than ever and is still really good. Never played it. FF16 is single player and the combat was designed by the guy who designed the Devil May cry combat believe it or not

The ending of FF7R hits different when you play the OG. Otherwise, the stuff that happens with the dementors won't have the same significance.

Damn, that sucks if they missed on the FF7 ps1 train.. i still think itll be good.

I dont want to play the first one and end at leaving midgar and then be like wtf, I get that the storyline now has sidequests etc to make it longer but does it actually feel like a full game coming from the original FF7?

I actually just restarted ff7 on xbox, they made it legit, you can speed up the parts that would usually take me forever as a kid (like running around on the world map finding a chocobo)

I liked FF8, FF9, FF10 also

I agree. I just dont think other people would be able to appreciate it. I could be wrong though. FF7 is very special to me. It was the first PS game i ever bought. Its no exaggeration when i say it changed my life and how i viewed games. im sure it was the same for a lot of people too

I dont know how to answer that. No it dont feel like a full game, especially if you beat the OG but we still have no idea whats gonna happen after Midgar and they did that on purpose. I personally cant wait to play it and have no doubt its gonna be one of the best games,trilogies of all time

If there’s one part I hate it’s that how to operate wastewater pump mini game. It’s more frustrating than one would think. On hard mode.
