Rate my quick oven Prime Rib

Choice cuts were on sale for $7/lb so I grabbed a small one (4lb) this morning for an easy lunch. Did a quick mix of roasted garlic, butter, salt, honey and pepper and rubbed it all over, leaving some thickness to the garlic. Low and slow for a few hours in the oven at 250 then broiled it at 500 for some crust. Nothing fancy, but comes out tender and juicy.

I probably banged your mom.

Never seen someone coat a rib roast in cream of corn soup before then roast it but if it tastes good, works for me

Yeah, that's a great mixture of flavors. I went more creamy smoked paprika for this one served with roast potatoes and cauliflower. However, like you said, roasting salmon in the summer months simply with butter, fresh lemon, and herbs from the garden is a fantastic straight-forward meal.

I try to eat salmon once a week and have to coat it in paprika because I don't really like the taste of it. I def can't eat the skin. I wish I liked it more. Maybe I'll try the butter and lemon.

I love it. I bough it as a safeguard and it works great. My only gripe is being near the meat for it to work for the timeframe. I really don’t need it but I’d rather not take a chance of overcooking prime rib.

I love mine. I've used it so far for smoking a pork butt and roasting lamb chops. Came out perfect each time. They also elaborately help you with the thermometer's placement and rest guidelines. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

Prime rib is one of my favorite meals if done right. Smoked or in the oven, as long as you got the temps and seasoning right you can nail the flavor.
